With the whole relationship to red and white issue, I am a Newcastle supporter. Our arch rivals, Sunderland wear red and white stripes. I hate the red and white stripes of Sunderland. But I absolutely love the red and white stripes of Melbourne Heart. They are our club's colours. If Heart had started in any other colours, I would still love them and not want them to change. I will be there next season no matter what, but I will be in red and white.

In regards to how well known a marquee is, I'm sure that hardly any A-League supporters had ever heard of Thomas Broich before he joined Roar, and now he's a household name in Australian football because of the reputation he earned himself in the A-League. Would much rather a Broich than a Del Piero to be honest.

I don't know if you understand the concept of the salary cap, but players over here don't earn 2-4 thousand a week unless they are a marquee. No matter how rich the owners are.
