Im pretty sure Khaldoon Al Mubarak had said in an interview that we will be focusing on “return on investment” over the next 3 years and wont be spending big money on marquees due to the Tim Cahill invesment not working commercially.

Rostyn said in his interview that there will be one or two more players coming in possibly more. Does anybody know whats happening with Ersan Gulum? Would be great to sign him so we can use our two visa spots on a marquee visa AM and the other visa on a left winger. (Or vise versa).

Does this mean Budzinski still gets payed out for his second year cause he is still under contract? or still gets payed out if he willingly terminates his contract?

I cant see CFG paying out budzinski and picking up another marquee. I get the feeling they wont spend much money on players. I hope i am wrong and we get 3 quality visa players along with the aussies but not confident.

Is a right back included with regards to players to come? Or is it just a marquee AM & an injury replacement for bruno.

So which players are we actually missing? Who are we looking at to come in starting 11? Please dont tell me malik will be starting. He is a big liability.

So, we couldnt seal the deal with troisi, palic or budzinski. Scouts around the world and we dont have a RB or AM. This has to be the most frustrating australian club to support.

I called the membership department at 11am this morning. The representative said that he couldnt give me an exact figure but were close to 9,000 members. Chances are that he is full of shit. Why dont they just put that running tally on the membership portal now. Theres only around 5-6 weeks till the season starts.

It was rumoured a while ago that the marquee is 27 yrs old and is not getting along with the new coach at his club. Marcin was playing for cracovia who have got a new coach.

If he did an acl injury in april, i cant see him being ready to play competitively till our season is over.

We also need a right back. The left wingers will destroy muscat for pace.

With the marquee spot available & the salary cap room available after franjic leaving i am pretty certain we will sign the two remaining visa players. One should be a #10 but not sure if the final visa spot should go to a centre back or right back.

Did the "expect a couple of good visa players" come from a city representative?
