Duff confirms he's leaving, and the puff goes out of City. The squad desperately needs a manager able to impart higher intensity, lack of complacency, and selfless humility in service of the team - won't ever happen under van 't Schip.

How much longer do we supporters have to suffer? No joy in this team, no poise, no calm - just stressed-out, under-achieving football in the image of their coach. JVS hasn't got the vision, he's from the past, and has to go. It really is hard to believe how disappointing this team has been all along. There were moments with Sibon, Behich, even Kewell - but mostly, all I feel is despair at their lack of intensity and self-belief. Why do I keep renewing my membership? Masochism, and the foolish belief that one day the stands at AAMI will be full, and we'll dominate a game. Sad.

This team play without precision. They're muddled in attack, and confused in defence. The problems begin and end with their novice management. Aloisi and his team must go, now.

How much longer does management expect supporters to accept the unacceptable? The team can't travel, won't bond, never plays consistently. There's a woe-is-us mentality about the whole operation. Sure, Sydney FC pays out three times the money to its squad that we do, but that shouldn't stop us being a gritty, us-against-them unit that plays as one. Instead, we're disunited, and it shows.

Tried so hard not to care - but gutted by that woeful exhibition. Bottom team outran and outplayed us. We haven't played away with spirit since JVS coached, and at least stood up to petulant Colosimo.
