The end of an era I guess, but that shouldn't change all good times we've had together. Yarraside's defining quality was its fierce independence, right until the end. No one can deny that. What ever group decides to take up the challenge of running the home end would do well to acknowledge that, at the very least.

It's a great venue. I don't know why they don't expand the use of it with HV, or look to bring in other sports over the year like Lacrosse. Shame it's too short for gridiron though...

That'll probably happen in the future, certainly the 30 year vision has housing where the hockey field is. I dunno, it'd be a shame but then again, the uni is only interested in revenue, and housing provision is where the money is.
