That's considering the sale takes place at all! Settle down mate, these things take time. Look at the WSW situation, still hassnt gone through. Things like these take time and cant be rushed. So when it does happen I hope the new owners take their time and find us a proper taining home, start paying the staff correctly and start looking for a full time manager. I still don't think JVS wants to be full time beyond this season but he would have great contacts to use back in Holland. I want a manager to make our club the club which takes the league to the next level like brisbane a few years ago. I also have no problem writing this season off and causing some pain for the teams in the league above us fighting for a finals berth. Didulica hinted at this in the interview on SEN this week. It seems like he has accepted that this season is gone and they are thing of rebuilding and getting a little momentum toward the end of the season to carry us into the next season with new owners. All in all I think this season, which has been shocking in any measure, will help us in the future and will make any future success just that much sweeter and we will look back in a couple of years and think, it was this season that the club got the dose of reality it needed. Also, to have such a shit year in such a tough market to have a rusted on group of 5k-7k of fans and members is pretty heartening imo (excuse pun)

Its not the club it is Kappa. The club doesnt pay anything to have the kits produced or the gear for training made as they are 'sponsored' by Kappa. So bottom line is Kappa decides what gets made and what doesnt. Email Kappa not the club. FWIW I believe we are the only club to sell the keeper kit and I am pretty sure that was due to everyone asking for it, so there is some hope if enough pressure is put on Kappa....But this is the last year of the contract so I doubt it. Obvs know this but shame the club doesn't push for it more... As what was my response to Melanie's email to me.. Knew it was Kappa. Said all along is just some guy in broadmedows in his back shed. It took them months to even get a website going here in australia. Although they were selling 3rd kit shorts on friday. Has anyone tried on a ccm kit? Their collar looks totally different to ours.

Nothing is going to happen with player signings until the new owners are announced and then they have time to come in and look at everything. I would assume the current owners think this season is a right off so they have no reason to rush the sale and that leaves little time with the new owners.To think that they will swoop in and sack a heap of players and then sign new ones halfway through the season is wishful thinking.

I actually got a proper response once when I asked about shorts. They said it was basically the numbers. They said they have researched and they wouldn't sell enough to justify the cost. Reading between the lines it's kappa who won't justify the costs and therefore won't sell them.

He went forward for one of them, when he first came on. It was a corner. But I remember at a stage when Jets were dominating I think in the late 70's minutes a few players said come forward and he brushed it off.

Probably the most refreshing thing about him as soon as he came on he was trying to calm everyone down and get them into positions. Also, when we had those corners late in the game there would have been a huge pressure to move forward given his size, but he stayed back to marshal the defence.

Ive thought this all along, there wouldnt be enough time for the new owners to do anything in the transfer period
