White shirts make everyone appear bigger. Willo hardly looked ideal but unless we are privy to their exact skin folds or fitness condition I think we should stop speculating and leave it up to the coaching staff.

My understanding was that we'd be going with the generic Nike goalkeeping kits for 2014/15. So either green or gold, but that shot of Redders in grey shows differently of course.

Shony will not be cut - he's one of JvS' favourites. His versatility and game breaking skill is still exactly what our team needs. From the sounds of things our final signing for the beginning of the season will be a centre back so Pat and Rob have some support. Someone like Germano who can link up between the mids and defenders make him important.

Here's my scarf submission now using the American Captain font. How far away are we from a final decision? Will there be a chance to vote for the top designs as there was for the Melburnians badge?

I also like the Sheep Cow Whale Boat scarf. It's pretty unique and cool.

Here's my submission. Predominately white design with the colour in the lettering able to stand out from a distance. The word Melburnians in sky blue for home games. The words Heart of the City in red for away games. Depending on the chant you could face the scarf one way or the other. An important feature in the design is to have the logo facing the reverse way so that when worn the logo is upright. Tri-colour tassels. Most importantly I've kept it simple, clean, and utilised the three colours fairly evenly.

Would love to add my design for the scarf but need help with the Melburnians font used in the winning logo. LR9 or Themi10 could you please let me know?

Blue stripe central and even that first design minus the wingdings looks good - maybe that could have a central blue stripe.

Why not set the flinders street clock to 19:10 the year the station opened - or even your good old 18:47.

The central sky blue stripe looks perfect! The one incorporating our home kit stripe is a bit unbalanced, plus we won't have that design for ever so it may be a bit short sighted. I'd both for either of those over option 3 now!
