For the Newcastle game I was nursing quite the hangover so I decided to sit up the Swan Street end of the ground for the game. As Ando said, the key is getting everyone up and singing. At one point during the match a lot of the Yarraside end that were GA stood up and started doing the "Heart (clap x 6)" chant, which looked great. I think in an ideal world the best way to expand is upwards, but it's good to hear that people can now sit in the bays next to us without an active membership, this may prompt more participation.

Just happy to get the win in the end. Thought we were poor in the second half, the boys need to keep moving and pressing forward, as it just looked like we were willing to sit back again.

The fans will come, remember that ever since the the club started they have been putting the groundwork into the community and the kids. The positive signs from this work will become a lot more evident in 10 years or so. Sure it's a long wait, but these are the long term supporters we are targeting in order to be sustainable into the future.

I didn't think the crowd was that bad. Not great, or good by any means. But I have seen much, much worse.

It was hardly a failure. The league got a fairly decent response from the public considering the franchises were all new teams and this season seems to be carrying more momentum going into the opening game. The crowds were terrific as well, averaging 17k across the league. I do not really like T20 cricket but it is good enough for a domestic league, and it fills the gaps through the summer. Test cricket will always be the best form of cricket.

If any deal happens it's not going to come through till the end of the MLS playoffs.

I agree with the person who said that they need more Youtube videos. They have gone really quiet on that regard. Just have loads of interviews, training videos, pranks and gameday videos with members of the squad. Anything to get the name out there. I don't know why they got rid of Heart Access All Areas, those are the videos that will bring people in. By the club not giving us anything, it almost feels as if they excluding people.

Just want to see the lads have a go a bit more. There was not much creativity today, not many risks being taken from either team, which explains how it was not entertaining. Hopefully we can pull a win next week, although we need to start winning games at home more often.

I think if you have to Ando it would be good to stop chants completely if they are going to fast. Then just telling people to slow the fark down might improve it. By ghod some chants can sound awful due to some overexcited kids.

There a bus that goes near the stadium? Looks to be far from the station.
