We lost by 2 to the team on top. Tell me that result was gonna happen after the Hawthorn game and I would have had a doctor check you out. Simply put the kids cannot put together 4 quarters and despite playing well for most of the game, when you start to slack off against quality opposition you get punished. Simple. If we can beat the Blues next week it will make for an interesting end to the season. At least this year we have shown to be able to compete against the top sides (bar Hawthorn). Keep the faith I always say, it's losses like these that make the wins that much more better when you stay committed.

I don't understand what the red has to do with Malaysia though? Is this just a re-branding thing to connect more with the Welsh supporters or is this Malaysian brand associated with red?

I don't think they would make him Manager just for marketability. I mean it's not like he brought the crowds in when he was playing for us. So why would they think he'd bring more as manager?

I feel that in regards to Away Day attendances and pub attendances, a lot of Yarraside's members are largely under age, but nearing 18, so they don't put in as much effort to get to these things. So over the time expect, both of these things to improve rapidly. Most of the lads I go with will be 18 by season start and are all keen in getting involved with the above, something we couldn't really do so before. Speed of chanting is just an Aussie culture thing really, with persistence and encouragement of the right culture, I believe we can get it right, which I noticed started to happen a bit more towards the end of the season.

If we don't make the 8 I don't possibly see how we would have improved. Been sitting 9th for two years now. I think 6-8th on the ladder is where we will end up. We have the easy draw this year, shouldn't be excuses.

Eng Lang 3/4 ITA 3/4 Economics 3/4 Media 3/4 (probably my most enjoyable subject which I am decent in, speaking of which I picked up a pretty decent camera the other month and am keen to get into taking pictures of the terrace eventually) Further Maths 3/4 Fairly confident with all of them, especially ITA, Media and Maths, but need some improvement in Eco and Eng Lang so I am sure I will be referring back to this thread over the year for help.
