Can't speak for others, but I thought he deserved being looked at for the socceroos because we had fuck all left back options, and there was a time many would have considered him the best left back in the A-League. Things are different now, as in a short space of time there have been some new left back options emerge and it's not a problem position for the Socceroos anymore, while Behich has been out of form, so he is a long way away currently. But who knows what can happen, I've seen stranger footballer career rises than if AB did emerge as an option for the socceroos again.

Given that you're not a fan of JVS, does it not seem possible that perhaps under a competent manager, who plays him to his strengths and not so much to his weaknesses, Aziz will play much better?

IMO the club needs to keep working hard on keeping the information flow going. You have to keep people's interest alive. For example, video interviews with Retre and Marino would have gone well with the announcements of their signings. We've done a lot better this pre-season than in the past, but the flow does seem to be intermittent.

The only reason they are keeping their head above water is because they are not spending any money at all. Even on things like staples and paper. Plus they are chopping entire departments and transferring their work load to others (who are still expected to do their same work load too). Tesla is right. The economy is completely fucked.
