On the subject of Duga, as I recall last season he was really slow to get off the mark and then he came good. I always presumed that was because he was returning from injury and had been Aloisied. But reading the comments, there is a little brain cell that is ringing a warning bell...

 

He was terrible at the beginning last season because of aloisi. Like so many players aloisi destroyed their game and their confidence with his negative football. Came good under van schip and provided goals and assists second half of the season.

He also came good because he was not playing so wide in the second half of last Season under JVS.

 

Last night he played very wide which as per usual highlighted the poorer attributes of his game such as crossing rather than his greatest strength which is his ability of being able to cut in like he used to do so well in his first season at Heart.
