Parra is fine, but venture further west or south west and you'd be in for some fun.

In-laws live in and around Blacktown. Its like one massive Fawkner out there. Absolute desolate shit-hole, void of anything worth seeing (unless you like drag racing).

Wish Australia's Wonderland was still open

Where Wonderland used to be they are opening a Wet and Wild.

Will never compare to the Bush Beast and Space Probe, but better than nothing

I agree. Luna Park Sydney is a shithole. The Bush Beast was awesome. That was the ride I had the best memories on. Still a wet and wild is better than nothing as you say...

In all seriousness.. All this fuckhead factor at parramatta stadium would be avoided if they placed the away fans in the southern stand.. Directly opposite the rbb.. That would completely wipe out the shit that went down last night..

tbh if your security had half a clue none of it would happen.

Looking back at the trip, I really enjoyed it. Great company all round. Easy flights up and back. Transport was fun. Pre game and post game were enjoyable despite the result. The players coming up to us after the game was something we had spoken about at the fan forum and it happened.

Overall, I would love to do this trip again and a big thank you to everyone who attended. You guys made the trip what it was for me in the end.

Pretty much this. I think the above is a great summary of the trip. Parramatta is actually quite nice, the stadium is the perfect size for Wanderers to grow in to and even though the result didn't go our way, having the players come up to the traveling fans was excellent form.

It was a good trip. i copped much flack/threats/banter etc waving the heart flag for our solitary goal, sitting smack in the middle of their "A" seating.

There were a few of us there..

Copped a bit of abuse from a security guy as my kids went down to see the players after the game for brushing past him.

Slightly nervous walk back to the hotel wearing the heart kit, surrounded by wanderer fans all the way back - there were many police outside the ground though and on every corner all the way back.

There songs/chants are slightly catchy having been made to listen to it all the way home.......

Anyhow good to meet much of the yarraside on tour guys and girls.

How good is Scott Munn coming down to the pub pre-game soaking in all the advice drunk guys can give about running the club .

Till next week
