DutchPride
Listening to Soundtrack to the Struggle all over again, this has been my favourite since i first listened to it months ago. Elki, yours? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Hqc4KnA-JA
Tesla
Phaggot, why not ask mine. Actually going back and lsitening to the album again too, I wasnt really in the right mindstate at the time to properly appreciate this album at the time. I still maintane there are too many songs on the album. I like dreamers, this one was also really good. In case you were not aware, Ancient Mesopotamia is modern day Iraq. Sumeria is modern day Iraq. Babylon and Assyria are modern day Iraq. Garden of Eden? Iraq. Noah built the ark in Iraq, Abraham was born in Iraq, the three wise men are from Iraq. Math, language, law, science, astrology, and most importantly civilization itself was all born in Iraq. The Abrahamic `God,` or the concept thereof, is from Iraq. So it really is the cradle of civilization. The mention of Mesopotamia and Sumer is as good a reason as any to post this song: Also, Common's album is actually pretty dope. Apart from Sweet, which was sick and everyone should have heard, this is also a cool track. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1SWSEJM0c-c Edited January 16, 2012 by Tesla
Baresi
Common is a legend and every album he has made has been quality. As for STTS... Pretty much the whole album, but here are some that haven't yet been posted that I love. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WeMSLQtl6uI Edited January 16, 2012 by Ellki
Baresi
Okay, here goes... Forum withdrawls have built up things to post. Frisco's tribute to Mark Duggan, who was the guy the police killed, sparking the London riots. They were actually mates, so this has basis, and it's not just a random thinking they know the situation. Akala's new F64. Must be listened to. Baresi
The OGs crew (P Money, Blacks, Little Dee, Jendor, Ruger, Desperado, Stormer) released a mixtape on Christmas day. It's called Oh Geezus It's Christmas Again!... If you don't have it, get it here for free. Highlights; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uz9XS1uwscA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UhwsRKZjWQQ Also, they did an hour long Logan set to promote it... Baresi
Ghetts also released a mixtape on Christmas day, and it's my favourite of his releases so far. It's a lot more meaningful and has more substance than you'd normally expect from Ghetts, but it still has the big bangers and up tempo tracks as well. Momentum ... Get it here ... Highly recommended. Highlights; Really a must get mixtape.

Baresi
Ah, was waiting for the return of Mr. Kool in this thread! That track is beast ... but, who the hell are the Thunderclaps? I hear Ghetts, but who are the others?
KSK_47
Yes. I dont often listen to new music so I thought I would spare everyone the bombardment of older tracks on this shiny new forum... But then I thought, "ah fuck it!" Thunderclaps (as far as I know) is a production team. They do some outstanding stuff. Check their Myspace page (yes, some folk still occasionally get onto Myspace!) http://www.myspace.com/thunderclapsmusic Edited February 8, 2012 by KSK_47

KSK_47
Yeah. It is one of those ones I heard years ago yet still wake up with in my head some days. Massive track. Been listening to a bit of early Black Milk lately. I will never get tired of this album

Baresi
God I miss this stuff. Swear these guys were one of the best hip hop groups going around! Went against everything they'd said early, and went for the floor-filling, money music.. Wish they hadn't.

Tesla
Yeah I need to get me some of the old school BEP. Let me aware you guys on the most underrated rapper
Baresi
He's a gun, but he's not really underrated. Slaughterhouse are very popular, of which he is part. In fact, all of Slaughterhouse are pretty good.
Tesla
Joe Budden is not underrated? Notsureifsrs. They are good separately, when they make a song as Slaughterhouse it rarely seems to be good or as good as it should be given the individual talents. Baresi
While we're talking about Slaughterhouse, this must be mentioned, as it's a beast of a track. Luda is such a gun when he wants to be. One of the best to ever do it (though admittedly he has dropped off a bit now).
