Been talking a lot of Toon Football with my brother this off season and both of us are actually going to get into the EPL this season.

Spose it's easy with him living over there and already having got his stuff sorted.

Heading out to a tournament over in England in March - April next year, already got my tickets to take my Dad who's a life long Toon fan to his first game, aswell as my first game. Newcastle vs Sunderland, can't contain my excitement.

Wow, that's sounds awesome mate. I'd do anything to go to SJP to watch the toon.... Especially in a derby, so lucky.

Very happy at how the lads played this morning, was a very even game up until Demba had scored, what a ripper of a strike it was also. Also Ben Arfa played extremely well I thought, really hoping we can carry some form into next week and we make it 2 in a row at Stamford Bridge, Howay the lads.

Inevitable Ba or Cisse were going to score, will happen most weeks.

Ben Arfa really is great, he is dangerous literally every time he has it, always looking to go past one or two players, opens up so much space, i.e penalty.

Great win for you lads, who probably went into the game stronger than Spurs though.

Excited for tonights game, hoping to see some really nice football played. Should be a walk in the park for the Geordies, so I'm really hoping for a 2-0 win or something along those lines. Ben Arfa and Vurnon Anita to rip it up in the midfield together, with Cisse and Ba to work together well and dominate play up forward. Really can't see us conceding tonight so if Krul keeps a clean sheet i'd be more than happy and it should well boost his confidence up.

Also if you haven't heard, unfortunately Fox Sports are not televising the game tonight which is a joke, they are not putting on viewers choice whilst the S'Hampton vs United game clashes with ours. Very poor form by Fox Sports....

Really disappointed in this mornings effort... Thought we lacked very badly in defence at times and didn't make the most of the oppurtunitys when we got given them. Was hoping we could come out of this game with all 3 points. On a plus though, watch Ben Arfa's goal if you can, was an absolute gem on his opposite foot.

Big game tomorrow morning, Everton away. Will be happy with a draw or a win. Only thing worrying me is with the likes of Coloccini and Tim Krul out we may just not be able to hold Everton strikers out from scoring. Not sure how Harper will go with his first appearance in goals this season, may be a bit shaky first up. Also with Tiote out we will be lacking in the midfield. Need HBA and Ba/Cisse to link up very well if we are wanting to have scoring opportunities, if this doesn't happen really can't see us grabbing all 3 points. Will be a big test for us hopefully can come away with a point or three, Howay the Lads.

New sponsors Wonga set to change name of Newcastle United's Ground back to St. James' Park.

Not like it was referred to Sports Direct Arena anyway.

The ground was always AND will always be reffered to as St James' Park, and never anything else.

New sponsors Wonga are also financial predators who make their money from the suffering, and claim to charge 1% interest per day - think it's going to take more than changing the name (rightfully) back to St. James Park to win over the Geordie public.

You've done it again, sir.

Nothing wrong with it!! Typical southern media stirring up trouble.... no one says anything about Blackpool or hearts being sponsored by them or all the casinos or alcohol companies that sponsor clubs..... those 2 things cause more trouble in life!!

Newcastle is a big club, Hearts & Blackpool aren't - Newcastle is a larger city, of course people are going to talk about it more, the attention that Wonga will get from this is obviously a lot bigger, that's why there's the massive uproar - Newcastle's reputation whether it be legitimately or non-legitimately is going to be tarnished, surely you understand why so many people, important stakeholders are appalled with the deal.

Curtis good looks as if he is about to go out on loan to Gateshead! Will do him good if he does go

Agreed, would be best for him to go down to Gateshead and get playing time rather then remain in the reserves. Still think he has potential to be a good player. Very excited for Sunday night should be a cracking game. Predicting a win for us with Shola to score off the bench the decisive goal.

Massive game tonight against the SMB, so nervous and excited at the same time. Not sure how it's going to turn out coming off a 3-0 defeat to Manchester United at home. Hoping we can bounce back strongly after the International break. 3 massive returns with Colo, Krul and Saylor are all back in the starting lineup, which makes me feel very confident, should be very solid in defence. I'm predicting a 2-1 win to Newcastle with both our goals coming in the second half. Demba Ba to have a ripper, and Shola to score the match winner. Howay the Lads.

Very lucky last night against the Baggies. Played well throughout the first half with Krul, Shola and Demba linking up to score our first. The lads came out in the second half looking very average and it took up until the final minute of stoppage time to get the winner, very lucky it was in the end. Sammy Ameobi's shot was deflected off Cisse. So happy to grab the 3 points after a scrappy second half performance. Personally I thought both Ameobi's played brilliantly both picking up an assist each, also Tim Krul in goals did very well. Very happy to be back on the winners list, Howay the Lads.
