  1. havn't come up with lyrics but the song Life is Life has a nice tune (some may know this as Maradona's song) here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4vashrNoXTE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EGikhmjTSZI the nanana part can sound pretty good with some clapping
  2. oh sorry ashley williams, swansea defender, tbh only seen him play against Arsenal a couple of times and a couple other matches, 28 year old captain of wales tho. oh yeh of course Cesc would be amazing as well! i have a feeling he will stay at least this year and try to prove his worth to barca.. maybe now with Neymar there they will start playing him in midfield more, but wish he comes back and plays with Wilshere in the middle would be unstoppable! yess bendtner finnally gone! arshavin too he had a massive salary which was not being used properly and i think denilson and squillaci too, so theres some more free space for salary.. yeh i agree having depth im midfield is essential, maybe play fellaini in cdm which he says is his fave position if we get him.. our corner set up will be scary for keepers and defenders.. BFG, Kosh and Fellaini, pwaohh headers galore!!
  3. higuin nearly signed? who else do we need? fellaini? williams? cesar? surely rooney wont happen.. imo anyway
  4. already completed, next year he will be scoring every second week
  5. yes but which big team isnt owned by wealthy men? its not that our owners are rich but that city's and psg's and chealsea's managers munipulate the system use their own money into putting players onto the pitch, we have money but our owners are keeping it away from wenger. fair enough Stan Kroenke doesn't use his own accounts this is a good thing in football, but the money Arsenal make should be used for this and that is what Usmanov will do if he gains majority ownership. being purchased by this certain group is different, Arsenal's cash we earned wont be used but rather money given by external sources saying to the rest of the world that this is how football should be now. owners will be wealthy men because they are successful in other projects they have been apart of showing they are capable of handling responsibility, which is what we need
  6. i was just about to post the link, im against it i always believed in this decade we will continue to grow financially on our own and this is proven, just let usmanov and his group of true goonas who take on board the fans opionions run the club instead of that yank kroenke. win or lose tonight wenger is a terrific manager and just needs the confidence of whoever runs the club which he isnt getting at the moment. fair play would make us right up there in a few years but other clubs will always have ways around the rules and regulations, in a perfect world the true powerhouses like arsenal, liverpool etc will rise over city's and psg's. although the club knows nothing is perfect and times have changed where players would rather wear the shirts of fake clubs who pay than clubs who have given something to football so unfortunately this will probably happen and the Arsenal name will be corporatized.. leaving all other clubs with ambitions left with no chance unless they get bought out, welcome to the world of modern football when will they bring out the monopoly version ffs so we can pass these soulless values onto the next generation.. winning wont feel the same, getting up 3am to watch a circus show awaits plus side; at least we can keep Jack lol
  7. loving lift off^^ has anyone voted for the best tracks of 2012 on armins a state of trance? cant go past gareth emery's concrete angel in the top five!
  8. i no there is a hip hop thread but i thought id make this one and see if anyone else has their own theories about their deaths and the whole east coast/west coast shit. my guess is that suge knight was responsible for both hits.
  9. please dont leave farkeennnnn! (refer to previous comment)
  10. fuck! get wilshere santi ox verm sagna pod and giroud by themselves and sell everyone else, start fresh
  11. yeh gervinho is really annoying me now if he doesnt get scoring in the next couple of weeks he needs to go in jan, but even tho i dont think he will. we were lucky on sat with the penalties but now we gotta win tomoro in the league cup, curtis good expected to play against us..
  12. yeah Maede played well, and yeah ive given up defending those players we need to offload them in jan and try and pick up something good. True, Le Coq for me can be an asset to the club a loan move like wilshere had would help in. Fuck if we get Barca again at least we wont get our hopes up with a last minute bendtner one on one with valdes and fuck it up. we have gervinho for that now.
  13. lol yeah Arsenal struggle with youth yeh true about m'vila, i wish diaby was a more defensive minded player like vieira who showed tall cdm players can be very good, although diaby is a good box to box midfielder. it just makes u realise after he left liverpool how important and rare a player like xabi alonso really is, i reckon sell ramsey arshavin and chamakh (nothing is changing) and invest in an alonso TYPE player
  14. why u no play marin more often?
  15. why are city "fans" complaining these days? simple if mancini gets you guys second place jump back onto the united bandwagon like the others will, until ur "football club" ruins football even more and buys a whole new squad
  16. yeah i saw that match diame could fit well in our squad, what is your thoughts about m'vila?
  17. also wenger to stay, at least to seasons end. to bring in a new manager now would be the worst timing let wenger figure something out and decide on his future in may, still 23 matches left and the cups
  18. this is what i reckon the team should be: TBA sagna laurent verm gibbs ox wilshere arteta cazorla podolski theo OR giroud i reckon the 3 keepers now need to battle it out and show consistency, szesny is probably on top atm but im a big fan of mannone, and fabianski always seems to be injured at the wrong times, interesting if we get reina.. with the back four i think sagna deserves to start with what he has produced the last few seasons but jenkinson is someone we MUST keep and will continue to put pressure on sagna, once he gets that starting role he will be a huge part of our squad, we just need someone who can cover him, same with gibbs who has heaps of confidence and santos is just a flop. verm and laurent i belive is our strongest centre halfs, per mertsacker is solid but i believe can be abit slow and i for some reason get worried when he has the ball. i know oxlade-chamberlain is fast and skillful and has been playing as a winger but i believe he strong and can pass the ball really well, he has even said that he would like to fill alex songs role in that holding position, and i believe wilshere next to him on his left will give our midfield a good balance even tho both like to attack i think our whole midfield is interchangeable when one can cover if the other wants to make a run to shock defenders. arteta for me is best infront of these two, this year he is playing more defencive and has taken it on really well but maybe he is what we need in the front third almost to set things up. cazorla has played out on the right many times at malaga and villareal and even tho it says right wing i think like the old Arsenal all these players need to learn eachothers mentalities and be able to cover and rotate temporarily on the pitch like the days of pires and freddie where they wouldnt be restricted to the far sides but link up with vieira and silva and henry etc. podolski is good on the left altho i like the sound of two strikers but lukas can again drift in and take on shots like that^^ theo is dying for a more central role like ox, but centre foward rather than centre mid. like ox he is fast and skilful and both a good on the wing, but like henry, being fast and skilful doesnt mean they always have to play there, i reckon give them the opportunity to play in their desired places and also put them on the wing when wenger thinks its right rather than having the 11 players locked in their positions, ive noticed podolski and theo sometimes swap from left to right. giroud obviously is class imo but needs competition for that cf like theo to get the very best out of him, leading scorer in france for the champions isnt bad, maybe we will somehow end up with two strikers up front before the seasons end. with rosicky, diaby (if ever fit), ramsey (needs to perform, can be good), arshavin (who prob leave), gervinho, jenkinson, mertsacker, chamakh and even the man frimpong on the bench itching to get on the pitch. this is just a different perspective not saying wenger should use it but he needs to change something up, i reckon we have a good squad but maybe need that defence minded player, not sure about arteta i think he is good there but better attacking, and maybe wilshere too needs to get up there, with the ox just a mere experiment i think is worth a try in a capital one match and u never no. i think we miss song just as much as van persie as we have learnt how to share the goals but there still seems a miscommunication between the defence and midfield, although van persie did help us alot, song was very important. anyone have any other formations or first 11 different from the one we use now? sorry about the lack of full stops etc cbf with that shit
  19. love it! sounds like football!
  20. i always thought it was peirs brosnan who kept tweeting about arsenal, now i look closer i see its this muppet. worst time to sack a manager now, then what does that mean for the club? imagine if the new manager loses his first couple of games people will say sack him aswell? let wenger turn our season around we still are in both cups and second round of ucl, plus only 5 points from top 4 (23 matches left, tell me swansea, hammers, west brom will have the depth to stay above us with their 2-3 point advantage they have over us atm, one week and it can all turn around).. it was an eye opener for the club to make changes on the park, work harder, different formations, player positions etc, not sack the board and manager.
  21. 2 nil, fuck me what a frustrating game, keep the faith in this team though and let arsene figure this out we dont need to become one of those plastic modern day clubs like chelsea and city and sack a manager when we are in a slump, i believe this starts a huge turn around for us this year, not saying we can at all contend with the top 2 but we can and will get something out of this season, keep the faith gooners.
  22. fuck what a second half + extra time! dont want to see a perfomance like that first half again but good signs with chamakh and arshavin getting involved. walcott can be a good striker i reckon he is alot like henry starting out wide and coming in to the middle, he has great finishing ability. giroud scored a good goal but needs more of that in the epl and in europe, and coquelin is getting better each game. jenkinson was good but the rest of the defence plus martinez need to become more stable if they want a similar denfensive line up in the quarter final.
  23. a few players need to seriously lift their game or leave, santos, ramsey and gervinho, they can be good but are not consistent at all. we need theo to get back and start playing him more so he can link up with giroud and podolski and even the ox needs to start more games hopefully his injury isnt too bad. our midfield will be good with wilshere arteta and santi and having diaby putting pressure on them, but ramsey doesnt do enough for me. cant wait for szczesny to come back in goals that goal was soft mannone should know better than to parry the ball to the middle of the goal rather than pushing it out for a corner if he cant hang on to it or at least pushing it away from the goal. hopefully we can add to our team in january apparently navas is on our radar but this always happens with us, saying that keep faith in wenger we will hit back midweek at home to schualke and then we have two winnable epl matches. but we need to get our shit together and take some risks in the front third before that match against united away. also its the best time to get rid of arshavin and chamakh as much as i wanted them to get more chances (chamakh hasnt featured in epl this season) they are puhing 30, i think andre is 31, and we can still get something from a mid table team or a french or russian club to free up our wages. this isnt the start of a massive drop we always have a couple soft results like this around this time of the season.
