  1. Aloisi will be a good public face for the club. An experienced mentor will come cheaper than an experienced coach due to the (presumably) part time nature of it. I'll trust the clubs judgement at this stage.

All this crap aside, i enjoy reading the rumours from both of you. There's no doubt you've got connections so with little else for us to go on, please keep it up - the rumours that is, not the pissing contest.
  3. +1, the more threads the merrier, the less personal attacks the better. i'd be disappointed to see Zahra go but I actually think its a bit of a punt for Perth anyway, given the injury and his game time being limited to youth games in the latter half of the season. I hope it works out for him though. I'm happy if we keep Goodwin, although i wonder what his attitude is like. We gave him a shot but he was keen to get out the door, even if it was to follow his former coach.
  4. You sound like an angry dude, chill out man.

    Scott Munn

Disappointing that he hasn't responded to tweets asking for clarification. Has Mr Munn had a tanty?

Surely there would be an official statement before a cryptic tweet indicating his departure - or at least, that's what should have happened. Still, we had a coach for the initial start up, why not a CEO.
  7. i completed it today, noticed the bug for the 'other' response so just ticked a box and also added to the 'other' text box. Poor QA on whoever the mob is running the survey, spelling mistakes in a number of the questions. I have a family premium a membership. My number one request is for the club to create a facility to enable me to upgrade the childrens tickets to adults when the kids can't come (late games etc). I'm happy to pay an upgrade fee per game. It shits me that the seats go to waste when I could give the club a bit of extra revenue and also bring someone new along to the game who may as a result become a member. It also increases attendances figures. It particularly annoys me at derbies. I've rang the club on this a number of times. The 'we don't have the facilities for that' excuse is wearing thin when it seems a no brainer to me. just create the damn facilities.
  8. thought the home crowd was pretty ordinary given the size, we seem to struggle to support the national teams chant wise. Ends up being more of an afl atmosphere. On the other hand, the saudi fans, despite us outnumbering them probably 10-15 to 1, were awesome. as far as opposition fans go that is. Our Derby's have a far better atmosphere in my view, a lot to do with the hard work of the yarraside of course.
  9. or on a field trip from the juvenile justice centre - bet we impressed walking off the plane.

who is likely to retire out of the current group? Reid I guess, Colosimo has another year, can't think of any others that would be definite retirements just yet.
  11. the crowds are the biggest concern at this stage of the season. We're losing, but more importantly not playing well. There were a couple of cracking games, the two games before the last two from memory that were just exciting to watch. Since then its been ordinary to watch. Sure, there might be reasons for that, but the consequence is we wont attract and hold new fans/members, which is ultimately where the club will live or die. not sure it's scotts fault, he seems to have strengths in fan engagement etc. bottom line is that free tickets and other similar promotions won't do it for us, but goals, preferably wins, attractive and exciting football, and probably a high profile signing for next season (aside from a defender and solid striker that can finish; i.e. berisha) should go a long way to building a sustainable fan base.
  12. Yep. I'm with you. The hostility, abuse directed at other members etc seriously detracts from this forum. The 'sack' threads should all be banned - they're attacks, not positive debate, and the posts discussing MHFC staff's daughters were both downright offensive and rather embarrasing. It would be good for the forum to have some strong moderation for a while to clean it up. Forum rules would be good. We probably have them, I've never looked as most of its just common sense.

I really hope he doesn't leave. I suspect we will already have enough spots to fill in the off season.
