  1. Makes zero sense to keep him with so many high profile player clashes. Unless its a directive from the club to get the highest earners off the books. No sure if anyone can answer this , would melbourne city Salary Cap have anything to do with Manchester`s TPP & Fair Play seeing they fall under the same group?
  2. being realistic it looks like another end of season mass turn over. Dario Vidosic , Bruno Fornaroli, Florin Berenguer, Luke Brattan/Ritchie de Laet (will go elsewhere for bigger money) Iacopo La Rocca, Eugene Galekovic Im expecting the above to all leave
  3. You cant keep turning over squads, isolating players, and being an absolute fruitloop by playing players out of position and expect a stable club. In all honesty players will be looking in and thinking something aint right its career suicide by going to city unless theyre getting paid a truck load and dont really give a crap.
  4. The guy is one of the most deluded pricks to ever grace a football field!!! Go get Rudan now!!!!
  5. Man city pay transfer fees for young players 🤔
  6. Fair call in regards to less regulations. All players should have release clauses in there contracts like in Spain not only for insurance purposes but also fair price. As most Aussie players are sold well below there true worth
  7. How do you work out a player's value? Transfer committee to keep fees realistic?
  8. Much rather see a 21yo in action over a 32yo who's out for a holiday 👍🏼
  9. It's not about spending millions upon millions. It's about raising the Cap to a decent level which A: helps keep the younger generation around longer and B: bringing out players worthy of visa spots rather than washed up 30yo+ players. They'll spend the money for a better brand, better football standards, more prize money on offer, better TV rights deals. Raise the standards and people will come. All this equates to more profile over time.
  10. I believe this will happen if there is a break away league. I believe some sort of cap will apply but it'll be a lot more attractive to sign better younger international players to raise the standards of the game. Right now there is no insensitive to spend money as prize pools/TV rights/player image rights are in the back pockets of FFA official's!! To have the FFA purely hand out a new licence to someone who bowed to their demands financially is an absolute disgrace. The Canberra bid was backed by billionaires from UAE who are ready to walk any in an sort of investment in the future.
  11. Affelay hands down. Would destroy the a-league hands down
  12. Highly agree. Is an international so you would think so. If Sydney could sign a Iranian you wouldn't see a Dutch international as a problem
  13. Plenty of decent free agents to choose from, I have my money on Ibraham afellay on a guest stint
  14. Atleast he won't feel out of place at city, he's swapping green shirts for green seats 😂😂
  15. Nope I believe that only works in outgoings. 2 things that could of happened they could have lodge the paperwork with FFA pending, or his German side can mutually terminate his contract leaving him a free agent.
  16. I think you'll find that players actually do there homework on coaches and clubs also!! I know for a fact, player's had been approached and the club were instantly knocked back.
  17. Maybe if you ran your mouth off, like you actually play, you might be a decent player 🙄
  18. makes you wonder what exactly they want to achieve from City? Is it just a write off for Manchester, Yoof! they clearly dont give a shit!!
  19. Names mentioned on here, Stephen Ireland, Matt Derbyshire, I think Ibrahim Afellay purely having his contract terminated (just a guess). Players who would walk into A-League team really!!
  20. Have been told its older type player on a deal until the end of the year. No names given.
  21. AFELLAY CONTRACT TERMINATED Ibrahim Afellay's contract with Stoke City has been terminated by mutual consent. The 32-year-old had six months left on his deal at the bet365 Stadium but is now free to join another club after parting ways with the Potters. Afellay initially joined Stoke on a two-year deal in 2015 after being released by Barcelona. MAKE IT HAPPEN CFG!!
