My summary is that we got beaten by good tactics. They nullified everything and they just stopped us getting out of the blocks.
WSW tacticians had the perfect plan and it was executed well.

Good result given the circumstances.
Vidmar changed it up which is refreshing and good to see the mids cutting off the passing lanes which was something lacking prior to this game. It was the best defensive structure all season.
We are still playing too wide and we struggle to put the ball at Jamie's feet.
With a squad that is obviously lacking in key areas, we did enough to negate their counters, smother the game and provide some real opportunities to score.

Everyone has an opinion which is good and great and all that, but the truth is in the results and based on the results, Kisnorbo is by far the best manager we have ever had.
Van shit had a great list and failed, Aloisi, Valkanis were incompetent, Joyce was the devil, had a great list and failed, and Mombaerts was just a nice guy who gave the club hope after the devil came through and destroyed everything.
Kisnorbo = success = fact = truth

Hopefully not just a knee jerk reaction to save face and distract attention away from the real problem of inept list recruitment.
Vidmar doesn't seem the type to 'toe the corporate line' either.
In saying that:

As with many others here I have my concerns about the list being able to execute the 'brand' style of play.

First Bos, Tulio & O'Neil were always going to leave: they are young and promising and we all knew that Europe beckoned. That is not CFG's fault - indeed the A-League is setup as a feeder league and so we have to live with it. VdV returned to Europe because of family as did Lam. Also of note is that CCM also lost a lot players to overseas as did AU. CCM and MC are not coping but AU are.
The question is given that MC were most likely aware of the players departing, why were they replaced by the lot we got? And what about our youth academy? surely they would have been taught the City way and at the very least would have the energy and enthusiasm to do something. I could cope better with losing by 6 goals if we had tried youth players than some of this lot.

I agree with everything you are saying, and here is the question I pose.
How could the coaching staff not be alarmed in the pre-season when comparing our current squad's performance with the squad of the last 2 seasons?
Surely alarm bell should have been going off.
Surely the type of players to execute this game plan should have been identified and recruited.
A 6-0 thrashing in the 2nd game of the season is a reflection of many problems that should have been addressed already.
Is it Rado's fault? I don't know, however I can suggest that our current list can not play this current system.
In the short term we need an immediate response to develop a defensive mindset and tweak the system accordingly, and then build from there even at the cost of 1-0 losses as thrashings destroy team morale.

Agreed, MC have not got the players to play the style that CFG demands. One option to stop the bleeding is to set up a defensive block, lure an opposition high line and hopefully Arslan can orchestrate a counter with Jamie having space.
Antonis and Ugarkovic know this style well.
I think Rado would know this but won't be allowed to do it.

Doesn't matter if they play 4 high on an attack if there is no supply, doesn't matter how good the defenders are if there is no supply cut off.
Jamie standing there waiting for supply, there is none as it was taken away with a stroke of a pen.
Antonis and Ugarkovic are seasoned players from a defensive counter mindset and not a high press possession game and might not fit in at all.
The mid field is where the game is won and MC has none.
Let's see what happens when Arslan and Leckie are on the pitch but until then don't expect much from this list.

Now you do this to the above mention patient types and you get bad bad bad results like exacerbation of OA, angina, CVD, COPD, tachycardia, CVA, URTI, tinnitus and most importantly the immune system is compomised and as a package often leads to hypercytokinemia and resultant death.
All this for something that supposably has a 0.0005% fatality rate.
All this is backed by science and data and all this is what we are seeing clinically.
The doctors know it, the clinicians know it, the scientists know it, we all know it.
And just remember, all these people you see on TV, they are paid actors, all these actor crying on TV about 'ooh its horrible, I lost my sense of smell' well guess what , if the average person went into their garage and glued a small piece of sand paper to a stick and put it up their nose and scraped their olfactory nerve endings guess what, his sense of smell wouldn't be very good either with a very unsettling infamatory response to go with it.
And its amazing how many incidences we are seeing with naso-pharyneal and ethmoidal and maxillary sinus problems in the past 6 months.
And lastly this heart string pulling of news of people dying in nursing home is disgusting. Statically no different from any other year as we have averaged about 1000 deaths in nursing homes per month in Victoria for the last 5 years. Yes, old people die and especially in nursing home and losing a loved won is very sad. But look what they have done, they have weaponised natural death of elderly people, they have force them to die alone, they have kept their loved ones away at the moment where they needed them the most for comforting and spiritual closure, and the government pays the nursing home for putting C19 on the death certificate. This is a disgrace, evil and inhumane.
Don't continue to buy into the media and political 'science' but rather question the information and verify whether their information is supported by solid scientific data.
You will find it isn't or it is a blatant lie.

Seriously you need to stop, in none of those studies have they followed the Koch's Postulates gold standard nor the more flexible River's Postulates.
They used the PCR test to replicate something that they expected it to look like, ie SARS-CoV-1 which is basically common influenza, cultured it in monkey cell (from memory) but never PROVED anything other than that.
All the other studies are doing is comparing a genetic code to the one published from China which never satisfied any of the above mentioned gold standard which BTW MUST BE FULFILLED in the world of microbiology and virology.
Also the published rebuttals of the original China study led the scientist to admit their failings but the WHO obviously didn't allow retraction and never published the admission.
If you look hard enough you will still find it.

For example, back in mid July, in a COVID-19 diagnostic instruction published on their official website, on p. 39 it was explicitly stated that they were testing PCR on some surrogate/simulation of the sars-cov-2 virus. Because they simply didn't have the real virus in their laboratory in Atlanta, one of the largest in the USA. How is that possible? How is that possible that they are ordering to clean driveways and public places, presumably because virus is everywhere, yet they don't have it in their largest labs? Well, the answer is simple and I think you know it already.

It is like the players are drones that just play to a system with no common sense. It is painful to watch at times.
