Lallana was my boy the moment we signed him. Proving that the £23 million price was well worth it. Such a classy player, probably been our second best player this season behind Sterling. Yes, it was a disgrace. They say that this is an example that we are hard to trade with, farm Port were the ones being hard to trade with. We are losing arguably our most important player, and they wanted to give us pick 17. If you want a player who is top 5 at our club, is contracted, and could win them next years premiership, you have to give something back. Would have wanted Ollie Wines but settled for Hamish Hartlett or someone. But the bastards would only give us 17 and 37 and we had to accept it out of goodwill.

The Premier League doesn't have a salary cap. CFG owning us won't mean we can just buy the leagues best players, like it does with Man City. They only thing they can buy us that will be far superior to everyone else is facilities. We just needed to build, in leagues with salary caps, it gives smaller teams hope and a real chance of success.

That's sucks. It's bad for our club, the A-League and the sport in Australia. CFG are always going to give preference to Manchester City and NYCFC. We will always be the "youngest sibling", so to speak.

Agreed. I continue to support the club, but I really hope CFG sell pretty soon. I want our colours, our name, our kit, out logo, our club back. I'd rather be Melbourne Heart like we were every other season than be Melbourne City will heaps of money. We obviously didn't have the resources of a Melbourne Victory or Sydney FC but we could have kept growing.
