If true I hate the owners. They obviously don't give a shit about the club and just see it as a play thing with no rush to make it successful.

I'm happy for him to do anything in the known universe if he is sacked.

I'm starting to think that for whatever reason Bruno WANTS JVS to stay... and that's why JVS has not been sacked yet. Before being OUT or IN I think there are some things we should all do. Don't renew membership till the very last minute. Write a group letter to the board. Start a petition etc etc Or am I an idiot that the club cares at all about the fans? Couldn't we drum up bad publicity for the club somehow? I mean JVS is worse than JA for the club because at least JA gave the club no option but to sack him. JVS keeps doing "just enough" to still be around and even get most us confused at times. One more year could easily turn into five more years of mediocrity.

I fear he has a tanning bed...

I don't follow sackings regularly. Do clubs sometimes wait till after the Grand Final? Seems strange if they were going to sack him that it hasn't happened already.

And the pressure to satisfy expectations especially if he does find it harder without those two.

Many get it but there's way too much "our coach sucks but we really need to improve the playing roster" type posts on here as well.

Ha! So do I with a couple of partners. I'm constantly fighting tooth and nail to improve the business which is probably why it's so frustrating following Heart/City. Really it's a franchise, a business I support and so if they are going to run it like a business at least be good at it. At least listen to the customers.

Unfortunately he's not a terrible coach just a mediocre one. If he does stay he might get lucky (I'm being serious) and have a good season. This season he was two wins away from winning the whole thing wither the Plate and the Grand Final. Bruno might stay and CFG supply some amazing replacement for Mooy etc. Next season we win the whole thing and suddenly we are stuck with JVS for at least another two years after that. Never mind that he needs the richest, most well connected owners in the A-League and a team that is better than any A-League team has ever been to win the damn thing... Never mind that he should have gone years ago. I don't care if he goes on to win the Premier's Plate, Grand Final and following ACL next season. I will never forgive the club, both Heart and City for keeping him season after season. Or he stays for next year and we come 3rd despite have the best squad etc etc. Basically I've been in a foul mood over him being in charge for at least a year and half and it will continue until he is sacked. I loathe mediocrity. I loathe business institutions that reward mediocrity. I loathe the old owners of Heart and I'm beginning to loathe the current owners.

If he leaves and JVS stays I don't think anyone can be mad at him in the slightest. I would leave too.

Bullshit. That is total bullshit. We were 2 wins from winning the Premiership with that squad you speak of. A high quality manager would have got the best out of the team when it mattered and won the damn thing.

Isn't it obvious people are not upset about this one result necessarily but the whole season and the five prior ones.

Which makes it even more obvious it's his fault in my eyes. Shows the players have the talent but the manager can't get the best out of them at all consistently and can't adapt. So we were a tiny bit less shit than last year? Honestly finishing anywhere from 4th to 7th amounts to about the same thing. It means you were mediocre. The only way I would have said we clearly improved on last year was if we'd come 1st or 2nd.
