Looks like a deflection to me.

After winning it in 2014 Adelaide came third that season after coming sixth the season before. And then the next season they came first. City are currently fourth after having come fourth last season. There was talk at the start of the season by some that we would start the season brightly until other teams figured us out. Also we played at AAMI park for the quarter final, semi final and final. When does a team ever get that? Three home games to finish a cup.
