You would never rule out anything happening in this type of business you only have to look as far as the whole saga that eventuated with Fabian Delphi. However I believe selling mooy mid way through a season is basically throwing in the white towel on the season. The only way I see Troisi happening is if Koren does happen to leave in January freeing up a marquee position and slotting Troisi into that marquee position but considering I believe that sacking your marquee and replacing him another is not possible then really makes my opening statement void.

Why would we be getting rid of Koren when 1) his finally fit again 2) there is no where to suggest you can bring in another marquee to replace an existing one. I fear koren will be going no where.

God like status for me now. Not cause he pulled off the saves to help win the game but purely for the emotion he showed after the final whistle. Not a fan of gooch at the moment behind melling, Chapman, retre and mauk in my opinion. Chapman is the only one I just listed that is out for a long period of time. With the additions of Hughes and koren back in the squad I can't see any room for the gooch.

I think there is too much over sized emphasis on an a league team playing a big euro team. Whilst it would be nice for Melbourne City to play a big Euro team I see there being no positive advantages. The public already know we are owned by a big European side. There is nothing appealing about watching our club being beaten by a European team that is in the middle of their pre season. I'm happy for our boys to stay low key, even return to Manchester for a pre season. The results on the field is what is going to get our fans/ members and playing entertaining football (which we are starting to do).

Guest player is a shambles at the moment. FFA seem content on having little exposure and having the a league grow at a very slow pace. I would be happy for Keogh to be recognised as a guest player actually enjoyed watching him play and guess what he scored goals. Not as much as a flop as some of those guest players mentioned above.

I like the enthusiasm but will not happen you are likely to see ronaldinhio here before you see any of the above. But in saying that no one would have ever imagined del peiro playing in the a league and it happened.
