Dead set the most fun I've ever had at a game. I have missed this so much! Terrace was great tonight, haven't been in there for a while so forgot how many sik kunt ultraz there are but after about 20 minutes they get bored of chanting and leave so all good. Capo did a top notch job as did everyone around us. As for the game, wow. What a match! Did not see that coming at all! Somebody asked my prediction before the game and I said a 4-0 loss. We looked like a completely new team tonight. Somebody must have finally shot a rocket up them because they looked hungry and angry as hell! Tando - The king. Has actually been sitting on the bench so long that he has forgotten how to concede. Was fantastic tonight, and commanded his area like a general. Hoff - not his best night, but with the season he's having I'll forgive him. Still wasn't too bad. Kisnorbo - best game for this club. Hands down. Was a brick wall tonight, shut Berisha out of the game with ease. Good to see him yelling and commanding tonight like a captain as well. Chapman - my man of the match tonight. Was simply faultless. This kid is something special, has a big future ahead of him. Not looking forward to seeing him move to the Premier League and sit on the bench like Curtis Good though. Garuccio - Killed it tonight. I swear this kid is a derby specialist. Showed that he should definitely be first choice LB ahead of Ramsay, but still needs some work on the defensive side of his game if he wants to pursue the position going forward. Eric the red - He could come round to my house, kill my entire family and shit in my shoes and I would still kiss him for that goal. Melling - I absolutely love this kid. Has so much mongrel and fight, can tackle like a born defender and knows how to throw an elbow and not get sent off. Second best on field for me. Mooy - Yet another incredible game from this guy. Best non-marquee signing in A League history? Ramsay - prefer him on the wing to defence, but still not great. I hope it's just a confidence thing after being fucked over at LB. Williams - Rivalling Mifsud for offsides... wasn't great again. Dugandzic - played really well tonight, made himself a pest to the defence all night and his assist for Paartalu's goal was beautiful. Needs to fucking shoot when open though. Brown - Forgot he was there tbh Koren - He survived, that's what matters. Looked good for somebody obviously not ready to be back. Almost won it at the end as well. Mauk - no real chance to have an impact

Koren will start. We'll stand around awkwardly in the terrace due to no tifo and the fact that we are surrounded by riot police and SWAT officers. The game will kick off and Koren will recieve the first pass of the game. As he goes to pass it his calf muscle will literally fall off of the bone. Career over. JVS panics and sends Weilaert on as a midfielder because he thinks he'll be good there. Within 10 minutes of the game starting Besart Berisha will have scored 2 goals and recieved a red card for kicking Tando's head in. Redmayne will come on to replace Tando's bloodied corpse. As he runs onto the field he trips in a divot and claps furiously in the direction of the groundstaff. Half time arrives with the score Victory 3-0 City. During the half-time break the camera aims at Jesus Kennedy in the crowd, the entire Melburnians terrace errupts in applause. As he stands up to aknowledge the support, he tweaks his back again and ends up as crippled as Michael Clarke. In the second half Jacob Melling completely turns it around, scoring 5 goals! Incredible scenes as City now lead 5-3 with only 34 seconds to go. The celebration starts early around the stadium. Then Archie Thompson scores a hattrick and we lose 6-5.

JVS is definitely not the man for the job here. That much is obvious. But I don't think Mike Mulvey is either. Sure he's a pretty decent coach, but we are the richest club in a salary-capped league. One of the few areas we can really use that money on is coaching staff. Since the takeover all CFG have talked about is ambition and taking Australian football to a new level. If they are really serious about this club they should go hard for a high-quality manager with a good reputation. Going for Mike Mulvey as anything other than a caretaker is just taking the soft option imo.
