  3. Was just browsing the Bayern Munchen/Munich chants, and came across this one which sounded fun and addictive. Anyone in Aleague doing this one? http://en.fanchants.de/football-songs/bayern-munich-chants/aiaiaiai/
  4. As in the one's on every Range Rover at Mt Buller come Winter time? No thanks. Then don't put it on yours. And I've been up to Buller many times. Haven't seen them. They're more visible for afl teams.
  5. Special edition scarves for foundation members particularly given it will be 5 years
  6. I think this song was playing the other night on Friday night. Thought I'd put it out there in case anyone thought it could be a good chant. Even just the first verse could be cool. The bits the jumped out to me was the chorus (0:35) with talks of the new name "Melbourne City" Can also be adopted if we stay as Heart so don't flame based on this. Gonna have fun with in the city Even our girls look Be with my girl, she's so pretty SheOur boys looks fine tonight She isThey're outa' sight to me Tonight, I'll paint it red Tonight, I'll lose my head Tonight, I've got to get tonight Melbourne I have City on my mind
  7. Haha.. a hand holding up a sneaker two-stick..
  8. Another small thing, but a small weather safe square sticker to put onto number plates. A subtle way to show your support than a massive sticker on your car.
  9. A small thing, but each member gets a micro-jersey (or be able to buy) with suction cup to stick onto car windows.
  10. Ability to buy a jersey with number and/or name on the spot. Whilst you wait.
  11. Melburnian I know you have (Many) aspirations but it'd be good if you'd list just the one item do people can 'like'. That way the well endorsed ones are a little more obvious. I should have said that in OP.
  12. Might cause debate, but it would be nice to be an actual financial member.. With voting rights.
  13. An actual DVD/BR of all the success and highlights of the 'road the championship of 2014/2015'.
  14. I know they said that they wouldn't touch anything for the rest of the season, but I kinda hope they would just throw in a new signing just 'cause they can. Get rid of Mifsud and send in a 2mil guest stint.
  15. I thought I'd post on what you'd like to see change, and what you'd like to keep given Heart is now 'in the money'. Please keep the discussions of names and colours out of this as there is more than enough heated argument in another thread. Make it like a Santa's list and if possible one topic per post. That way its a concise thread and vote/like for ones you agree with so we can see popular wishes. I'll start it off by saying..... Owning AAMI Park and forcing Victory out (or at least make them pay rent). AAMI park would be just for Heart and Storm. Along with a dedicated Heart merch store at the front
  16. Just having a 'debate' with @ChrisTannerZSEM about this, and got me wondering: Is it the level of involvement with the club that determines how willing we are to change? People are downplaying the history of MHFC.. I understand it's been 4 years worth forgetting, but some of it has been good. His argument is that giving up name and colours is a fair price to pay for success. My question is, "What is history?" .. Is 1 year not history?. Are 4 years meant to be just forgotten. Is success history?. Is failure? I'd be interested to know that perspective from a survey on what time of member/fan.. Active, involved (i.e.: RWU, active via yarraside core, active, casual, closet-fan) regarding name and colour change. At the end of the day, a name has been reserved, doesn't mean it's going to be used. Maybe it's been reserved for a gradual name change after a few years. Maybe it'll be cold turkey. Who knows.. It's all speculation.
  17. To a curious outsider, could you explain these? What exactly is it that FFV (I know who they are, at least) did to blow these ideas before?FFV is football federation Victoria. The governing body for Victoria as FFA is for australia. There was excitement for the fans when Heart were going to have a team in a league 3 below a league. It gave fans something to do in the off season (since aleague runs during summer and grass roots in regular winter). They shut this down for whatever reason. Again, women's team had been dangled as a carrot to fans but suspect after 2 years of intention it came down to money. Fair enough about the women's team, I get that. City have just been accepted into the top tier of women's football in England (in controversial circumstances, I will admit) and are currently trying to treat it seriously and build a winning team, so I'd like to think a MHFC women's team is also in the pipelines. What do you mean by the lower-league team being shut down, though? Did the club exist and then FFV ordered it to close? FFV stepped in before you could seal the deal and banned you from operating one? etc. Is there any chance that a lower-league team can be done under the new ownership, or are FFV being deliberately contrary about you doing it? I can't recall specifically why. I recall the club publicing it, it was ready to happen and then at the last moment the FFV vetoed it as a conflict of interest or something. Someone else might have a better understanding/memory. It was a brilliant idea and one which I believe was a first in our country. Here's a link to the topic. http://mhfcsupporters.com/topic/1609-mhfc-reserves-state-league-two/

  20. From what I've read over the past few days, it sounds like Man City have implemented what MHFC have been trying And doing over the past few years. * a state of art facility at Latrobe (not sure if this will be the academy there but hope its close to aami) * an academy (cruff) was happening with JvS * a lower level team in grass roots. FFV stuffed this * women's team. Ffv playing favorites with MV and MH can't afford. * social media. Heart are the best in HaL * surveys: heart have done this and listened to the fans * regular updates via email. I'm sure there's more, but as said before, the money will enable some of the above to happen and be even better.
  21. True. Don't stop us from having fun
  22. I wonder if Heart will get recaro seats for bench and do away with the bunnings chairs. Luxury
  23. That's easier said than done. Illustrator whilst powerful is tricky to learn
