  1. Does that mean you are not going? Might depend on if the fires settle down along the way. Hoping if it does we can still get accommodation somewhere too. Coming alone is an option but not as fun as bringing the rest of 'em
  2. F&$king shit. Freaking bushfires on the drive there has put the missus completely off. Was looking fwd to a family road trip.
  3. Are we talking the font on all Aziz ones (as seen in other thread and survey), or just the closeup one? Admittedly, the Aziz main concept are re-used but the text is custom (as you can already tell). Was trying to tie in the text with the concept. The idea would be that we have a few of these styled superheroes for _some_ consistency in terrace. And you're absolutely right. I put it up for feedback. If its not something to be proud of then it shouldn't be made. Back to the drawing board .....
  4. Prefer the original LR9. Leaves more to the imagination of his height. Was going to say that earlier too about it being a tifo. I'd love to make this but feel it'd take away from it being a tifo. oh and has anyone started yet on the Melbourne's better?
  5. Funny thing Braveheart is that the redmayne one is clear favorite and lowest least liked (ie not hated most)
  6. Not having a go but a bit naff tbhOkay. Care to suggest anything in particular to suggest? The font, the concept (red mane and that he's some what a ginger)?Ok then. The entire concept: It's simplistic, one dimensional and unimaginative. My constructive feedback would be not to make this one at all I do like the Aziz one though. Fair enough. The Aziz one posted in this thread or the other one styled like Kisnorbo? Chances are I'll make them both anyway Feel free to suggest an alternative Redmayne one.
  7. Put out a web poll.. please vote. Even if you don't like something, please provide constructive feedback. https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Q8DCLT5
  8. Here's another design, this one for Aziz, given his speed. Flash.

  10. Like it. Flag. Is that purposely chopped off bottom?
  11. Might put the next banner up for vote. Came up with flag design for Redders. Keen to know what you guys think..
  12. Okay so I made the kisnorbo banner (unfortunately he didn't play this game), but have a couple more in the same design. Won't necessarily be my next banner but I like the idea of having a few of this style in the terrace. Got a batman one in this style as well. Here's a couple of alternatives for Aziz.
  13. To answer the question the thread is named of "Melbourne Heart, what do we stand for". Right now, unfortunately we stand for a laughing stock, and the thrifty team that just cannot win. That is the perception on the street. I really hope this changes, and soon as I can't take this for much longer. It's well beyond a joke.
  14. Kisnorbo not quite ready (still need to stitch the sleeves for two sticks), but designed and painted.. We'll have two new two-sticks this Friday. Also might squeeze in a counterpart of another super hero in same style. Should this guy be made, and if so should he be assigned to a player.. I was thinking of making it as a banner for "Batman Avenue" which is right near AAMI Park
  15. Seriously. One thing is for sure is that heart will throw this game to BE the record holders of that record we all now know about. And then announce the new owners for a miraculous turnaround. No one in there right mind will EVER reach that record again. Bets are on after that Newcastle game and loss.
  16. I saw Josh Kennedy last night at the Santo Sam and Ed show, and got him to sign his #9 jersey and I was in my Heart top. He was impressed.. I'm sure he wants to sign for Heart now
  17. The article looks pretty much the same to me, with a statement added at the bottom about MHFC disputing the basis of the piece. http://www.footballaustralia.com.au/cockerill-opinion-display/Heart-have-erred-in-letting-Foxe-trot/82451 On the issue of "ambassadors"...this looks like another good initiative that has not been followed through properly in its execution. Who are they, what do they do, how have they been briefed, how is their effectiveness measured etc. etc.? Heart has had a number of these initiatives. Whatever happened to the "no. 12 for the fans" business - where did that go, and where is it going now - I haven't seen it referred to for a long time? The FRG - great idea - wasn't there supposed to be "official" feedback from the club - maybe I missed it? Even the Santa Hat collection at the Christmas Derby - I saw one supporter stuffing a couple of notes into the collection tin - put in a few gold coins myself - did I miss a notice about how much we raised? So many good things being done, but either not executed well, or no feedback given. Come on MHFC HQ. You start this stuff, you have to go on with it. I think it was reported in WEL game of 17K raised (or something like that)
  18. Didn't read that last page so forgive me if I repeat, but you might recall that CCM had another 'uncharacteristic bad game' against Heart last time in the 2-2. And they looked out of sorts again for this 0-0. Credit where credit due. The heart boys really seem to stunt CCM. Its the finishing that is the silent killer.
  19. Has anyone got any more ideas for a two stick? Here's my latest one for massimo Murdocca which is almost finished. It'll be ready for our next home game against the jets.
  20. Vid wasn't working for me across two devices so found this one. http://m.heraldsun.com.au/sport/football/john-vant-schip-says-melbourne-heart-will-be-fearless-against-central-coast-mariners/story-fni2wcjl-1226794585460
  21. The sessions aren't closed. And there aren't many suitable venues in or near the city. Epping Stadium is very well taken care of, and I imagine is cheap for the club to hire while LaTrobe gets sorted out. I know they aren't closed but occasionally they have closed ones leading up to big games.

Epping Stadium is very well taken care of, and I imagine is cheap for the club to hire while LaTrobe gets sorted out. I think you'll find that the issue with AAMI Park is that it is expensive, and, IIRC, we don't actually have much of a foothold there. The other tenants got in before we were born and took the available rooms etc. I might be wrong on this, and would welcome further information. Doesn't have to be IN aami park. MV seem to do well in Gosch's paddock. Perhaps we get a special deal with new buyers.who knows.
  23. Was buying some fabric for my next two stick and flags and was down at spotlight. They've got 40% off fabrics until Jan 1. You also get 10$ off if you spend over 50 and are a VIP member by buying their 99c mag. Feel free to use this topic for telling others of sales
