Knew Adelaide was going to win this, had no confidence in the team at all, this home run-away disgrace, form was always going to stop at some point and expose the shit performance this team has been putting in. Only 2-3 games we've genuinely been good and had good patches but in all honesty, the season is a shambles given the potential. Aloisi hasn't been the right bloke and the whole coaching staff is not upto par, i guess that's a bit important to mention as it's actually not all Aloisi's fault, i don't think his got the best support, but he should never have been appointed gaffer either.

No idea who these blokes were, apparently one of the times we gave Espana a good go, the camera men thought it was them... so they cut to that group and they were sitting there doing nothing with the chant in full swing! They got paid... I didn't... I had more fun I noticed that, pans to them and yet they werent in club colours or anything. Was rather strange and annoying tbh. Hats off to you keep it coming.

This is my first season to get into the A-league, i was your typical euro snob, and really lamented the A-league and it's efforst. But alas, i have decided to adopt it and stop trying to ignore it and perhaps play my part in trying to push football higher up the pecking order in this country. There is no doubt, the standard has improved, it was a big detractor in the earlier seasons watching bufoons squander a 2m pass. I hated watching and feeling like i could do better. Now i actually notice professional standards, passing is crisp and accurate and chances aren't squandered as often (Gol Gol's efforts yesterday are still a head in your hands type moments) but i think at the very least, euro snobs can watch at least a half of a game these days. I'm just a bit shattered the 2 Melbourne teams aren't more personalized, like representing certain areas, north and south east suburbs, but perhaps there was the fear of NSL ethnic days and segregation. But Brisbane and Gold Coast type scenario would've worked wonders in Victoria imo. Anyway, i'm weering off a bit but it definitley was nice to picture having attendances of 10k+ on a weekly basis, if a marquee can achieve this then it's a no brainer really.

I personally loved the sound of the trumpets, was a very nice touch, but agree with it needing to be in sync with the main chants and group. Good performance, i expected it to be tighter than that, i guess we were a bit lucky with the opener with garcia just offside i believe. Anyhoo, Sydney didnt threaten too much, and we were ok in possession. Very happy with 5 home wins on the trot, and making aami a fortress, i said it earlier in the season if we are to make the finals we'd have to do just that, but i also didnt think we'd be bloody winless away all season.. 2 teams have all but been ruled out of finals id say, wellington and perth in 10th and 9th so its closer to finding out whether we make it or not and being in 5th is rather promising. It would make the league and finals format all the more laughable to have a team in the so called finals having not won an away game all season and for like 2yrs or something, not to mention we'd be playing away...

We seem to hoof it a lot against all other teams, but very rarely when we play Victory (our best performances). So true, its so bloody bizarre, to figure out the mentality of the player groups and staff would be impossible really. I just feel like the players are doing it alot on their own i reckon, JA isnt influential enough as a head coach ought to be. Thats probably the biggest problem at the club right now.
