  1. regardless of colours. Pretty happy we will have the cleanest kit in the leauge, No god awful sponser logos everywhere. Last seasons kit looked so good until they got that one touch logo on the back
  2. I am happy that we still have 7 (is that right?) left to fill, including the marquees so its heartening that most of those used so far could be just squaddies
  3. is Joe Cole a box to box or a more out and out attacking mid?
  4. It would be pretty weird having in in June with all the Australian journalists in Brazil.
  5. No In all honesty, id say first week in June like the Sheik said. Thats when training starts so it makes sense in a way, when all the players are back training etc.

I think that's reading into it a little too much...
  7. I agree that they can't go much lower, so IMO there's enormous pressure on key people at Bunker Latrobe. If there is not visible improvement from now on I expect to see changes being imposed. TBH I'm surprised some people have survived. Well to be honest, all along you've been the leading voice for sacking pretty much everyone. I think it's fair to say your overall outlook is pretty negative. But perhaps just take their words and actions at face value. Like when they say that they've looked at the club and our vision etc sits easily with the values they've instilled throughout the organisation. They haven't changed much because the way we already go about things is compatible with what they do. I'm sure they've basically said that. And that it's part of the reason they decided to buy us. It's always seemed apparent to me that what's needed isn't a cleanout, but more resources, better facilities, more staff, and more expertise in some areas. But the people we've got, by and large, do a very good job. By what metric "are they doing a very good job?" I don't think many people realise how much of an oily rag the club was run on under the previous owners and therefore, how hard it made it. Besides the new owners obviously think some are good at their job because they are still employed. They would be much better at judging that than us keyboard warriors. Also, accounts from Yarraside members who deal with Munn on here, have mainly said he has been very good for the active support of this club.

I think he said that he wanted to have a more attacking role rather than an out and out number 10 and that he really didnt like the rotation policy of Popvic, seems like their relationship soured after the first season. If it didnt he might have been their new number 10 since Ono was gone. He might have a more box to box role with us than a replacement off the bench for Ono, or as a dm. I was having a look over at the 442 forums there seems to be a little hatred towards Mooy from their fans so maybe somethings happend, apparently a couple of times he hassnt gone over to the RBB to celebrate or something like that.
  9. You could be Heart and pretty much sack your entire coaching staff and employ Aloisi and Foxe to overtake their roles with no experience? Standards have improved since then. (thankfully)
  10. You could be perth and pretty much sack your entire and experienced coaching staff and employ Burns and McGarry to overtake their roles with no experience?
  11. Isn't Germano getting under 100k? I believe he's complained about how crappy his wages are in the past. Also, I'll cry with rage if Ramsay is on 200k a season. He was originally signed on minimum wage. Don't know if he has since negotiated his way to a higher wage. I think duga would be between 100-150 not 200. Mooy is on 300k. Its hard to judge what is 'significant' but if it were for Visa players it would have to be a pretty high number? more than 500 k. For example, Mifsud was on 300k. I think most of the squad from this year are probably on peanuts because of the results of last season.
  12. IF kennedy is confirmed then it clearly shows its all ramping up

Good point. I reckon they're softening up us supporters with all of these recent signings to lessen the blow when they reveal our sky blue kits! The announcement delays since the end of the season could have been something simple as the club was shutting down a little in the post season for staff holidays? Training starts first week of June so looks like everyone is back, the changes have been done and they are starting to ramp things up now.

I think this kills the idea that I and others said that it was because WSW was still in the ACL they didnt want to announce it and suggests that they have started all this activity because we are about to hear what the club will do with colours and name. Maybe 10am tomorrow? haha thats been bandied about a bit
  15. So part two is up. Nothing much said about us at All. Pretty much only said, it's another exciting oppurtunity that we hope we wil make it a commercial and in feild success. Annoyed nothing was said about Thursdays press conference
  16. Buy him one when we play in albury again and it's 43 degrees.
