  1. Wtf I just wasted 1 min of my life wtf was that??? or more to the point how the hell did u come across that?
  2. Got my tickets for the Iraq game farken yeah!!!
  3. Anyone know if heart is training again tomorrow at trinity?
  4. Maybe you should have put this under the chants section http://mhfcsupporters.com/forum/41-chants/
  5. Yeah I hate the karnt as well, but to be honest I don't care if Archie scores and wins games for Australia then so be, if hes the best man for the job currently, then as long as he is doing his job well that's all that matters. Australian football success comes before personal hate for a player for me, and that goes for Lucas Neil and mark Milligan as well.
  6. Good point from aloisi, brecsiano should have been subbed once we went 3 up to save him for next week. He's up there as our most important player.
  7. Now to be critical i still think Tommy oar is overrated and so is wilkshire. Bresciano our best player out there last week and this week and fails to be acknowledged accordingly by those fucks at fox sports. Archie's presence more than anything lifted the team, but I still think Archie being in the team is a reflection of the standard of the australian squad...not good enough.
  8. Well done Australia!!!!!! Exactly what was needed
  9. That's not entirely untrue. The guy covers ground like a fuckin gazelle and his fitness is up there with the best if not the best of the heart squad. Tells me he is very committed and professional about his physical conditioning. Just need to find where he will be best utilised on the pitch. This is the main problem with Hoffman, his greatest asset can't be utilised because as defensive midfielder he isn't strong enough and as an attacking midfielder he isn't creative enough. If we could put the ball at his feet in front of goal enough times he would be very good though. I think anyway. I saw the guy not miss the mini goals today time after time yet other players missed half the shots they attempted.
  10. Is that why they were at Epping Yesterday? Before someone comes on screaming about how unprofessional this is: A lot of professional sporting teams like to Mix up where they hold training (Inparticular Preseason Training) to keep things fresh for the players in such a tiring period of their year. The school I went to in Perth use to often have the Dockers and Eagles train at it whilst my brothers school has had the Wallabies, the Warratahs and the Sydney Swans train at the school he attended in Sydney. It should be noted that certain Private School sporting grounds are often kept in very condition as well. This is what a lot of AFL clubs do. I agree with this, if La Trobe isn't good enough, use pitches that are. Getting the lads fit and in top condition is paramount to us being successful. This is now up to the management of the club to sort out. Get a deal in place with a pitch that is up to standard. La Trobe is not the be all and end all. This is of major concern for me. I haven't seen the Latrobe pitches but going by everyone's reactions it's safe to speculate that the trinity pitch is much much better.
  11. Mate, hats off to you for getting down there so quick, watch them train and get back to us all in a matter of a couple of hours! Love you work and commitment! Coming from a coaching background I enjoy the training just as much if not more than the match itself haha and it's not far from where I work. A note about the training ground at trinity, I walked around on the pitch a bit and found it to be in very good condition for the rain we had. This is by far the most important aspect of a training facility. Firm but still had a nice soft feel underneath. Obviously doesn't have all the other aspects a proper training facility would have, but I liked the fact it is hidden away from the anyone besides the high school from seeing it. It was actually a nice place to train I thought.
  12. Nah no Garcia, taseski not sure, I've never seen the kid in person just from pictures, but he may have been there. There were a few faces I couldn't put a name to. They did a half pitch match so a bit hard to tell whether Ramsay was being used more as an attacking winger or defensive one.
  13. I totally agree and have always believed golgol is an untapped talent that needs to be worked with and educated (coached) and not just managed
  14. Just came back from hearts training session. Couple things I saw, Murdocca (fcknanglospellcheck) doesn't stop working he will be excellent for us in the midfield, something we lacked last season, Ramsey looks good on the ball and up close really looks like he has time, keeps a cool head when under pressure. Golgol had trouble reading some of the plays but did alright, dmac looked ok on the ball but misplaced quite a few passes. Walker, Williams and most of the other players performed as well as they normally do as far as I could tell. Hoffman looks very comfortable in front of goal yet lacked that sharpness when placed in any other position other than shooting.
  15. I got no problem paying, but I won't be extorted for money to get fuckin bullshit seats in return
  16. Fuck etihad, FFA, fuckin bullshit fuckin credit card surcharges and ticket delivery charges and any other cunts involved in charging inflated prices. Yeah I'll pay 65 a ticket to be put in the fuckn third level. Go fuck yourselves! Greedy cunts.
  17. The club has no obligations to say exactly why they keep certain players but in Hoffmans case I'd love to know what they see in him. I said it a while ago though that regarding Hoffman it may be just a case that if you get rid of too many players you have too many places to fill. Keep Hoffman as a back up player, its one less player to look for and focus on signing those major gaps in the team.
  18. Is it wrong for our image to purchase another ex victory player?
  19. Maybe there were circumstances that made this not possible but taking the money put towards Hoffman and redirecting it towards Garcia would make sense to me.
  20. You raise some good points MKD. Maybe for the last few seasons we could laugh off the wheelie bins, the aleaugue wasn't as recognisable as it is now. It was amusing and we had a laugh, but we're trying to be recognised by players overseas that are used to better facilities and what it comes down to in the end is "we're using fuckin garbage bins to stand in"!!!!!!!!!!! Unfortunately first impression screams unprofessionalism no matter what way you look at it.
  21. It'd be good to get someone that not only fits the role at heart but is also recognisable by the nonfootball community
