  1. Disappointed but not surprised he chose Bacchus over O'Halloran.
  2. @Afif Adam So do I but remember, O'Halloran is not a striker, he is a (right) winger. He will score goals but his main asset is creating chances. He is always there or there about at the top of the assist ladder at the end of the season. Therefore he needs a striker who can convert those chances, do we have one if Bruno goes?
  3. Yes I am. He should be playing this weekend but will it be with the Youth or A team? Hope Joyce bites the bullet and Baccus is dropped. He stated he targeted the Derby for his first start a couple of weeks ago.He has done his bit it is now up to Joyce Baccus or O'Halloran
  4. The question is who buckled Bruno or Joyce? Has Bruno passed all the tests or has Joyce realised he has been cutting off his nose to spite his face?
  5. Thanks, any marquee must be approved by FFA therefore I assume he has to be or has been a special, hence Baccus could not replace Fornaroli as a marquee.
  6. When is the winter transfer window is it the same as UK 1st January until midnight on 31st January? If this is the case matchday 11 would be the first chance to play new signings if Joyce deems them fit.
  7. I am still trying to get my head around the Cap and Marquee system. Did read somewhere that the FFA pay all or part of a marquee salary and it is outside the cap? If this is the case can Fornaroli only be replaced by another marquee player? What constitutes a marquee player is it a foreign internationalist?
  8. I am sure I will be corrected if I am wrong. I do not buy into the hardness of the pitches I Scotland all teams have training pitches which are hard and made of astro turf. Therefore MOH is used to training daily on hard pitches. 3 teams in the SPFL home grounds are astro turf. Again he is used to playing on hard pitches How many other teams have the majority of their foreign players out injured due to the hard pitches I am guessing not many. They are trying to ban the astro turf pitches at home grounds because they do cause injuries and some players cannot play on them due to previous injuries. I still believe it is Joyce's training is the problem for non youth players .
  9. I believe he has two training sessions a day or one long hard session. Youth football is to build up the players strength and stamina. The older players bodies are or should be at there strongest and fittest therefore they do not need to be continually developed. If they are trained like youth players they will develop injuries. Players injured O'Halloran age 27 DeLaet age 30 Berenguer age 29 LaRocca age 34 They are not youth players therefore in my uneducated opinion the over training of the older players is a problem. I do not know about injuries in his previous seasons but certain stats are are beginning to form or am I imaging it and it is just a coincidence.
  10. I believe MOH is ready, Baccus is the problem. Joyce cannot have both.
  11. Is Good's sending off an automatic 1 game suspension? And is it the next game?
  12. MOH said he's ready for game time and targeted the derby as his first start. But that gives Joyce a dilemma, he then could not play Baccus. So Baccus stays and MOH waits until January
  13. Not 1 City player has turned up for the 2nd half must have been an outstanding halftime team talk.
  14. Found one https://www.vipstand.se/perth-glory-vs-melbourne-city-live-sports-stream/1/
  15. If there is any consolation today the worst we be at the end of the game is a point of off of 3rd
  16. I too believe Joyce's training must be over the top and putting excessive pressure and strain on players to meet his standards. This time of the season all players should be match fit and in my opinion training should be keeping them ticking them over not pushing them into injuries.
  17. Guess the formation will be 4:1:4:1 (he has favoured it a couple of times) Baccus DM Atkinson and Vidosic wide with Wales as the striker.
  18. The Scottish paper today(Scottish Sun) Former Rangers forward Michael O'Halloran hopes to make his Melbourne City debut in their derby with Melbourne Victory on 22 December after being kept out of action by a hamstring injury picked up ahead of the A-League season. Michael O’Halloran is eager to finally kickstart his Aussie dream - in a derby clash a week before the Old Firm game. Former Rangers attacker O’Halloran has just less than an hour of action since his move to Melbourne City in the A-League. A horror hamstring injury on the eve of the new season in October has kept the 27-year-old on the sidelines this term. But O’Halloran has now pencilled in the meeting with close rivals and reigning champs Melbourne Victory on December 22 for a long-awaited comeback. The former St Johnstone star said: “The derby is my target and hopefully I can get myself fit for that. “I’ve never had a substantial injury that’s kept me out for more than a week or two so it is hard. “I’ve worked hard and worked well trying to get back to full fitness and I’m ahead of schedule so fingers crossed. “I keep up with the games back home and watch as much of it as I can. I do miss the competitiveness of it. “The SPFL is a good league with a lot of good players and I do see myself coming back eventually. “I have a lot of time for St Johnstone and always look to see how they’re doing. “I’ve got a lot of friends there as well but you never know where football could take you. “But I’m focused on what’s now for me and what’s now is Melbourne City. “I’m 27 now so I’m reaching my peak years in football and hopefully I can get playing again on a Saturday. I’m working hard towards that.” Apart from the injury setback, O’Halloran reckons he made the right decision to head Down Under earlier in the year. He added: “I’ve got a few cousins out here and they’ve been a massive help for me in terms of settling in and getting around places. “It’s a big city and a really nice city. There’s a lot happening and a lot going on. “It’s really close to the beach as well which is good. Coming over on your own is hard but it’s good having family here and they’ve shown me a lot of really nice places.” https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/3585059/rangers-michael-ohalloran-premiership-scotland-melbourne-city/
  19. He will not play in the Derby. Joyce prefers Baccus He will return the week Joyce has the ability to play both. Instead of getting game time with the A team, he will be given games with the Y team. You will not see him before January.
  20. Read this article https://www.ftbl.com.au/news/wales-reveals-key-to-bruno-row-516436?fbclid=IwAR0szPPAxRMBFNh6VM-YkFd3G3S9HYp0fX0qSdYBpT9oBV7l9_FKq-g7Bl8 It states "“Warren just says ‘Whoever trains the best will play’ and that’s what you’re seeing at the moment.” Not a philosophy I agree with, I am more inclined to "do not train hard and to your best ability then you will not play" He is committing suicide and pushing the self destruct button with some of his philosophies, he must give himself scope to play his best players and thus his best team. This may throw some light on why the players are out of position because he selects his best trainers then he has to find a formation to suit that XI.
