Yup that's right, in the following 48-72 hours Rangers Football Club will cease to exist as the Administrators will officially put in the paperwork to have the company liquidated.

What this means is that the Blue Knight Consortium that is being led by former Rangers FC director Paul Murray will create a new entity and Rangers Football Club will be reborn.

Repercussions:

- Will most likely not be allowed to start in the SPL and start in a lower division.

- All titles won since 1998 may be stripped from the club.

- Any title won under the old entity will not carry over to the new one.

- Many people will lose there jobs.

Positives:

- The club will start anew.

- The club will learn from precedent.

The club will use the same colours, the same crest, the same stadium, the same training ground. On that front not much will change.

This is why the EPL needed/needs to become the BPL.

Expand the current EPL to 24 teams, like the football league. (Y)

More clubs that are completely uncompetitive, thats just what the EPL needs.

TBH, could just make it the BPL and have all the Scottish clubs join in lower divisions, none are good enough for EPL presently. But as soon as Celtic have the increased TV money, then shit will get real for all the English clubs.

Not that any of this would happen, they would be to scared of losing their special status that lets them field 4 national teams.

SPL gonna struggle without Rangers.

Celtic will struggle without rangers as less money will need to be spent to have a competitive side which will leave them worse of in CL which will mean less money and also the dropping of the league eufa coefficient which will see them lose a CL place and then lose more money and the collapse of the SPL will occur.

Players finally decided to take pay cut, the club will now be able to play for the rest of the season, and have that long to find an owner.

Under the Blue Knight Consortium, Ticketus (The company that bankrolled Craig Whytes takeover) is now a backer of this consortium as it will be the only way they will get there monies. It also provides future investments as the Ticketus' parent holder Octopus, is owned by the 8th richest man in the UK.

Could just be my wet dream, but own a few discussions I have heard people say that a few rich benefactors will be investing in the Blue Knight Consortium. Plus some other potential buyers.

Then again, no party besides the Consortium have registered official interest in acquiring the club.
