Spot on. Exactly what I was getting at. I'm not discounting his contribution to the goals.

The one thing i don't think Gol Gol did enough of on the weekend was charging down the keepers and defenders when the opposition are playing out. Sure, it requires a lot of fitness but this is part of why Brisbane are so good. Attack is the first line of defence and the way Berisha pressures opposition defenders and GK is phenomenal, he has a great work rate and he forces a lot of errors just on that. If Gol Gol could add that to his game, we could really keep it down there.

Lets reopen this discussion about his performance.
My thoughts;
He seems a little relaxed at his attempts to win the ball. He just doesn't put enough into it to have a shot. No hunger. He was serviceable and had an assist, but theirs something about him which doesn't give me confidence. He's an L plate player.

He turned the ball over when he moved forward, other than that, he did his job. Theirs worse performers like Golgol. He's no bull, an seems a little relaxed at his attempts to win the ball.

So sick of counter attacking football at home. Coach needs to be able to change formation, during a game.

Hoff is our weakest on pitch. I gtee you Kosta......u will exploit his side. Goal-less Golgo should have put that away....an experienced striker would have. So far, pretty happy with team. Migliorini is quality but a little unfit, Mudocca Is a machine (effectjve and never stops) and so is Kewell. Hope he kicks a goal to rub it in to all Victory fans.

But I agree with jw1739 comments. Club has lots of potential.
Heard a rumour the academy dept is strategically linking itself with Parade college and currently in negotiations for some type of facilitated training program..,,

a) not linked to an exiting ethnic based NSL club (you can color it any way you like but SMFC and most other VPL clubs will always have ethnic roots).
existing managers of another sporting clubc) have lots of dispensable cash to burn
d) strong business credentials

I'm I missing something? Am I one of very few that recognise the value of this ad. Prime time advertisement (during a MUFC match) and half of you lot rubbish it.
It's not only about the individual, but also about the club exposure.
