My opinion. It's never ok to boo your own players. Boo the whole team after the whistle if they're been consistently shit. But you shouldn't single out a player... That being said, I was over Dean half way through the season let alone by the end of the season. And sick of hearing the idiotic "distribution" comment. He had amongst the worst passing stats in the league which is sad considering a lot of those where 5-10m passes...

None because we already have the best one... Dean Bouzanis He would come cheaper... He was currently getting paid 5 mill and the reason he stayed at Milan for so long is because we couldn't find any buyers because of his big wage. He'd likely come for 4 or less... The issue is whether CFG would want to spend the $$ after not seeing enough of a return from what was spent last season

I disagree. I'll take Brattan's first half and Caceras' 2nd... I'm just thinking along the lines of where they fit... And in this context(we're currently talking about Troisi coming in) Brattan, in my opinion, fit's better. Who knows, maybe we're not getting Troisi, we'll pick up another CM and Caceras will play CAM and kill it...

Take out a couple of games what did Caceras do better then Brattan in cm? Brattan is better middle of the park. Caceras is a sub par #10 that can play ok on the wing. we have wingers capable of doing what he can. and if we get Troisi, even more reason to have Brattan over Caceras... Plus, Brattan was heaps better in the first half of the season, second half. seemed like he didn't want to be here. It's just an opinion though. Granted, he could(hopefully) prove me wrong

Wouldn't be highly unlikely if CFG put their hand in their pocket... But I'm sure there are players out there that are capable of doing more then Troisi... The idea behind the marquee was to bring in quality not to keep good players here...

Troisi is definitely a good player. I'd love to have him at the club but I feel like we should get more out of a marquee... Colazo was a waste... bring in a marquee who get's paid 500k?! And Koren was a joke, but surely we could pick up a better Brandan as marquee... eg. Carlos Eduardo(CM/AM) european experience, jsut released from his club in Brazil... Someone like that would likely do a better job and would be a flashier marquee then Triosi. agreed. Honda is unlikely but definitely not coming to only play 14 games. It would have to be a marquee or nothing.

Problem with that is there are reports the tards have offered contracts while he's come out and said the club haven't offered him anything... My thoughts either way... We'd finally get a much needed #10, plus he's better then what we have. I just feel like we could/should get much better out of a marquee... a proper #10, preferably one that's played at a top league, with some commercial value, can hit the ball, has bleached hair...

At least he'd put a fire under everyone's ass... I do eventually want him as coach, just needs some experience first... 2-3 years as assistant alongside a top coach and he'll be perfect.

Keane and Pardew aren't great options but miles better then what we've had in the past. Of course it's still not the preferred option but I'd rather a Keane/Pardew then another Valkanis/JVA/Aloisi...

well, can't say his antics in his first Adelaide game against us would have gone down too well...

can't wait for the coach to finally be announced and for us to finally start picking up players. We need min 7-8 players a few of which will be starters so we need to get cracking... Other then Bonavacia(would be an expensive pickup) and Izzo, I can't say we've really missed out on anyone, but the longer we wait the harder it gets. And it would be good to have the starting team mostly sorted before pre season.

I'm pretty sure the rumour was that Brattan was staying and Caceras was going in pursuit of a move in Europe(clearly he needs psychiatric help if he think's he's good enough). While it was Brattan himself that had hinted he was staying on but can't find specifically what he said now. AS for Sorensen, the club had him and Timmy doing their coaching degrees on Snapchat so I took that as a hint that he might be staying on as a coach which I think would be great...
