Tongyik would likely find better form with more game time but for me he is one that would need to play 90 in the NPL/Youth team if he's not going to play a game in the first team. Although I think he's capable of stepping up, we still need another experienced defender, maybe even 2 if we get rid of Malik or move him back to CDM backup

same here... I like the idea of the blue, although I really liked our white kits, but this just looks way too boring. I'd also like a tiny bit of red somewhere. Don't like the idea of looking exactly the same as Machester and a red pinstripe through bits of white would be a small nod to our heart days without forcing the red and white away strip year after year

So much YES! 100% CFG should have started looking for a TOP replacement the minute JVS left. If the rumours of Valkanis being "considered" are true then that's a scary thought... He should never have been considered... He showed right from the first game that the best he could do is carry on with poor mans version of JVS' game plan which wasn't working

I like the idea of the blue seats... more importantly, we need to get rid of the meatheads and tards... have it a City only ground. Obviously need to get more to the games first but as Jovan already mentioned... proper coach and a few more players will fix that... To be honest, a proper coach would have fixed that for this season even with some of the guys we had this season

There's plenty about our game that can be attributed to the average coaching we've had to be honest. Look at our team this season... Perfect 4-3-3 style players... good fluid football with a quick counter attack... What did we play? slow build up play that was so slow I think you could have got a random from a retirement village to walk from end to end faster then we got the ball there

not sure they where average. and definitely not better than Rose. Just my opinion. Sure they've both stepped up this year but I still think they showed a lot of promise when they played for us... I think them not cementing their spot also had to do with coaching as well as their individual issues(injuries, form etc).

I was happy with Zullo and Garrucio... then we let them go and got Rose instead... I'm not exactly Anti Davidson, but as bt50 has said, I feel like for the $$ could be better spent elsewhere... Is he better than Rose... Hell yes! Is he better than Zullo? probably not... and likely to be paid the same if not more...

100% but I'm still wary about getting him. I feel like LB is too big of a problem to take a risk but it is what it is. I won't complain if that is all we can get. Much better then Rose...

I'd be ecstatic with Aziz but absolutely no chance of getting him Happy with pretty much any of the others except Davidson. I suppose he's better then Rose but I still don't really rate him. Then again, Mooy was a bit of a reject... Maybe Davidson could come and actually be pretty decent. AS much as I get the idea behind loaning players, I'd prefer getting someone permanently. WE need to start getting some consistency into this team rather then sign duds on 1 year contracts and getting players on loan and then inevitably having to replace 8-10 players every season.

haha. He'd be a good option for defence... Aussie, experienced, handy enough. and provides some cover so we can work Tongyik in slowly. Still need one more CB because I'd be sending Muscat on his way and Malik can stay but as a backup CDM not CB

That would be good. We really need an experienced coach with huge balls. One that will put a fire up the players asses. Would also be good to have Paddy learning off the new coach with a view of taking over. Paddy as an assistant would hopefully show these guys how they should play for the shirt rather then just cruise along like they did this season. It seemed like half the players didn't really want to be there or play...

I'd be suprised about Bouzanis, I think he'll stay as our second keeper. I'd be very surprised about Franjic, he might not have been our best player buy extremely far from the worst... I'd say Muscat, Malik and Retre are on the "should we get rid of them" list. Jason Davidson? Not really a fan... but if he comes cheap and he's Aussie... better have an Aussie and use the Visa spot somewhere else. We definitely need a #10, I personally wouldn't be getting rid of Kilkenny. Kilkenny, BRattan and a top #10 would make a well rounded midfield. Def need a starting #10, LW, LB, GK and a CB... the other spots are bench players. Wouldn't mind using the kids for those spots... As much as I like Tongyik, he's still quite Raw. Add another experienced CB to help teach him as well as continued decent game time, and proper coaching and he'll continue to grow. I do seriously think he's got the potential to do really well both here and eventually OS and in the socceroos. Just needs to be developed right...

100% with you on Brattan vs Caceras... Brattan, Kilkenny and a proper Playmaker, whether it be a cm as a flat three or a #10, would be considerably better and more affective then having Caceras in there somewhere. We desperately need 2x LB a good starter and maybe a younger sub? Bouzanis' future should only be as our 2nd keeper. Nowhere near good enough to be our starter. Need someone with better leadership, who can order a defence, who's not scared to come off his line. Pretty much a keeper that has more skills then just being a half decent shot stopper... The MOST inportant is a TOP coach. Without one, it'll be another wasted season. I said it start of this season, we wouldn't win anything with JVS. Couldn't do it last year, wasn't going to this year. I'd be 100 times happier with a top coach but average new players. you'd find guys like Bouzanis, Malik, Rose wouldn't look so bad if we played to the teams strengths. On Mitch Nichols... Please no! There aren't any current players that have been released that I'd take other than Martinez but not sure I'd waste the Marquee spot on him... Dream Marquee - Honda... Would solve our lack of a playmaker problem as well as adding some commercial value... Shirt sales always jump up when he signs up because he's got a huge fan base in Japan. If John Roberts is a done deal then that's a good pick up. Kid looks quality and better to have a kid as a sub for Bruno rather then an average striker.
