Same....we were a group of 5 blokes (all big football fans in general) and everybody besides myself has lost interest. It’s concerning.

I’m no advocate of getting JVS back but to label him as a poor manager for us (with the best squad ever) that I don’t fully agree with as he giving me lots of joy and fun to go to games. Besides Bruno and Novillo weren’t even marquee players to start with.

Besides those players you’ve mentioned we also had heaps of average fringe players who are far less quality then we have now in our squad. Didn’t Wilkinson only join later in the season? Kisnorbo was taped together. I would argue that our squad was the best in league besides Mooy, Novillo and Bruno. You can call him a bad manager all you want but we played entertaining football, the crowd numbers were upwards, fan moral was up and there was an excellent atmosphere at our home games. I loved going to games then. I remember this crazy home game against Perth some years back with red cards and missed penalties. Some of my casuals I brought along then are still talking about it....we had a vibe and were talk of the town for entertainment those seasons.

We can just copy all the Sydney FC gear and kits. Nice....both sky blue teams by Puma.

I would say we are at crisis point sorry. All our representing teams have missed their targets - Senior, youth and women. Fan turn out at an all time low Fan moral at an all time low

Yes please - whether the club has enough balls to accept this and agree to meet up with this group, remains a big questions. Also it needs to be made clear that such a group isn't affiliated with the travelling fans and or / the city terrace, unless they will have their own reps in this group.

How do you mean? You can still go to the ground but keep the active bay empty, just sit around it. Trust me empty bays and bad visual publicity hurt CFG more than 100 people shouting Wazza out.

Well both will do it. Empty bay for TV and media plus fans chanting in the stadium. In Europe we all bring a white napkin to wave at the coach if we want him gone.

Yeah but it’s about getting it on TV a banner and no fans are harmful for the CFG brand.

Leave the active bay empty on Sunday, just place some banners with #CFG Out on there.

We have no funds to spend either, remember our capped budget for marquee players and second grade visa players.

Would we consider keeping Joyce in a youth coach or development capacity? Let him work with the academy but stay away from the grown ups.

Good to read that so many others on this forum including myself have no idea what we are talking about. I hope you are all happy with 1-1 result against a 10 men team, which of course we bossed around but yet created nothing. I guess we were just unlucky.

I was there tonight. Happy we got away with a draw it isn’t easy beating Victory with a men down. We threw all we had at them = NOT. Joyce Out, he lost the players. Yes very unpopular, we showed no urgency and no passion - you are taking about some wild guessed shot out of the box who the wood work. What else did we create? You are talking like this was were clear cut out changes we created.

Delbo dropped? surely he deserved to be on the bench ahead of La Rocca

Would you mind to emphasise this a little more? The rumour was that Bruno broken the agreed rules among players which were agreed at the start of the season plus refusing to be benched. What you say, would be an offence to have him released from his contract, avoiding having to pay him.

Excuse me there mate, show me again, where do I say that I find this is a problem? I believe what I wrote is spot on how our club stands in this league. If they wanted to build a squad at expense with top notch marquees and guest players they would have done that already. They did not because sustainability has priority.

For some seasons I believe, it is made clear that this the main priority - the books. On field performances and result are secondary.

Happy for Bart to be marquee and MaClaren can be highest earner under the cap. That second marquee spot should go to a proven player in Europe or South America, a player who is a class above the rest of the team in an attacking creating role. He can do the work and Jamie Mac can score the tap ins.
