I'm sure other clubs have done the same thing, but is it really the look we want for the league when the Mariners are consistently tweeting about the actions of past players? (Mat Ryan in particular.) These players have left; they've moved on. It is a small club, or small league, mentality to be constantly reporting on what others are doing. It's one thing to post something when a player has moved to a big club but to tweet following almost every game, for me, is too much. We need to grow up as a league, and this is just one small, perhaps insignificant, part of the process.

Not sure about Mac and Billy starting in the same line-up. Would imagine, when the season rolls around, it would be one or the other from a tactical view point.

Clubs only make moves in January if they really, truly have to. Not even the reigning premiers can enter a season thinking "we'll see how we go with this lot, and if we need to buy in january we'll leave these spots open." The European transfer window has only just opened! There's a long way to go here.
