Personally I thought Nabbout was M.O.M for the tards, showed some nice trickery and was able to dribble past Jose Enrique a few times and he's no slouch.

Can't recall one Heart reference from JA tonight on 7 mate for the Liverpool game. Saw plenty of opportunities where he could have snuck a sneaky Heart reference in...but alas. Bridges mentioned the Jets several times. Opportunity missed I guess
Noticed this too, if tonight's game attracted any potential new fans then I can almost guarantee the majority of them will go to the Visitors.

It's amazing how many football fans there really are, but the sad truth is that the majority think they're too good to go to A-League games.

I think I saw a tweet from the club or Munn saying that all the new guys should be playing. Talk about HK too, but I'm more expecting him to come on in the 2nd half. Might be surprised though.
Wouldn't mind seeing Wielaert, Murdocca and Ramsay play 90, Kewell will probably play a half.

I've always liked Scott McDonald, regardless of his international record I reckon he's our best striker.
Absolutely tore up the SPL a few years ago and he was never really given the truest opportunity to prove himself in the national team (most of his appearances came either as a sub or as a sole striker).
Would be the perfect Australian marquee as Red or Dead said and would score 10-15 a season.

I've been a "country and regional" person my whole life and 95% of the people here couldn't tell you who Lionel Messi, Pele or Maradona are. Let alone Holt or ADP. We really do know jack shit. Sokkah is for pussies and faggots etc.
Fuck. Even half the people involved in the club I play for have this mentality and play matches like it's AFL, using AFL speak like kicking goals, forward line and the goalie marking the ball. Then chat about the footy afterwards.

I'm in Wodonga so it's probably about 60% AFL, 30% Soccer, 10% whatever else but yeah, it's rare to find someone who knows a lot about world football in general, let alone the A-League.
My girlfriend thought that Melbourne Heart and Manchester City (my Premier League team) were both in the same league, I just shook my head.

If you don't want to play in the A-League, fair enough. Guys like Chipperfield, Schwarzer and Viduka have probably done enough in their international careers and don't really owe Australia anything.
