  1. Id be playing Colosimo, Vrankovic has done nothing wrong but I can see Heskey mauling him, Heskey is a beast and we need Colosimo supporting Gerhardt
  2. No thank you Walked out of Gold Coast Bust up at Newcastle Bust up at Sydney
  3. I'm going to guess that we want to make sure he adapts to living here etc, as he was hoping to get a contract at his Dutch side A good move I think
  4. Redmayne Walker - Gerhardt - Colosimo - Coyne Germano - Meeuwis Garcia - Babalj - Williams Tadic Bolton, any of Fred, Thompson, Kalmar, Vrankovic, Merbrahtu, Mitchinson
  5. Does anyone know what was going on between Kalmar and Heffernan We had Heffernan clean up Kalmar in front of coaches Heffernan got fouled and Kalmar was over top of him yelling at him They both got called over for something before a corner When Eli scored Heffernan ran straight through Kalmar and got a yellow Was there bad blood when Heffernan was with us?
  6. If someone send me an email address on who to get in touch with at the club to suggest this ill put the idea forward
  7. Why did you reference his age ? Because he is not a young player who we can sign on potential really If he was 21 potenital is ok, but at 25 he should be delivering more and not just a guy who gets another contract on potential
  8. Yesterday at half time I was having a discussion with another bloke about a few players who had moved on from the club and wondering where they had gone. I think its good to remember past players and to keep up to date where they are and how they are going. So thought I would make the list where all ex Heart players are. If there is any gaps and you know let me know Michael Marrone (70 MHFC games) - Shanghai Shenxin (China) Aziz Behich (65) - Bursaspor (Turkey) Rutger Worm (47) - FC Emmen (Netherlands) Wayne Srhoj (43) - Alex Terra (44) - Daejeon Citizen (Sth Korea) Brendan Hamill (35) - Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma (Sth Korea) Gerald Sibon (27) - Retired Curtis Good (25) - Newcastle (England) - on loan at Bradford (England) Michael Beauchamp (23) - Western Sydney Wanderers Josip Skoko (22) - Retired John Aloisi (20) - Retired Adrian Zahra (19) - Perth Glory Maycon (14) - Free Agent Dean Heffernan (13) - Perth Glory Kristian Sarkies (12) - Heidleberg United (VPL) Adrian Madaschi (9) - Jeju United (Sth Korea) Kamal Ibrahim (4) - Heidleberg United (VPL) Kliment Taseski (4) - Moreland Zebras (VPL) Craig Goodwin (4) - Newcastle Jets Paul Reid (4) - Sydney FC Nikola Roganovic (2) - Green Gully
  9. explain? We have seen it with him that he is up and down For as good as he was yesterday he was just as bad 2 weeks ago against WSW I hope he really picks up and this is a breakthrough game and he becomes a consistent force
  10. Never heard of him but then again I'd never heard of Gerhardt or Tadic when they were signed
  11. I don't think we can sign him for 2 years, 1 year I think he is 25 and yes he had a great game yesterday but he is likely to have a shocker next week. Hopefully he can keep up his form
  12. Great performance today Redmayne had really nothing to do Walker was brilliant, his reading of the play is first class for someone with little experience Gerhardt and Vrankovic were good, Smeltz has made us look silly in the past (the final springs to mind) and between them they blanketed him well Coyne was solid for a first appearance. He will get better you have to remember he has been with the squad 3 days, it will take time for him to 100% pick everything up (was watching him in the warm ups and he was doing most things wrong, not super wrong like turning left instead of right, nothing big but backs up my point he doesn't know how we do everything yet) Germano was ok, nothing special but he did a reasonable job in nullifying Miller Thompson was also ok Kalmar, that's the best game I've seen him play. MOTM Garcia, probably one his poorer games. Didn't work back and his touch was off and a few passes especially to the overlapping Walker he underhit Williams was a lot better this week, I was critical of him not taking on Galloway last week. He made Risdon(who I rate) look very poor today Babalj was alright but IMO he works too far up the pitch, a couple of occasions he was getting the ball well into their half and he would look up and no one was there. Goal will give him confidence Of the subs Merbrahtu was lively but not a lot of supply Macallister had a chance to make it 3, but he was looking to pass like he didn't want to shoot. Be a bit more greedy, was a good run but need to finish Hoffman, 10 out of 10 performance. Came on ran around and never touched the thing, which meant he couldn't stuff anything up
  13. This. The guy realised that after over a year out of the game as such he was going to struggle to dislodge guys like Dugandzic and Williams and a change could be positive for him. We don't bag out guys like Good and Hamill for making positive career moves. Using this theory why did we all boo Goodwin Anyway I don't have a problem with Zahra good luck to him, but he is opposition now and I won't be going out of my way to clap him (like I don't clap any opposition players)
  14. Redmayne Walker - Gerhardt - Vrankovic - Coyne Germano - Thompson Garcia - Babalj - Williams Merbrahtu Bolton - Hoffman - Kalmar - Macallister
  15. Yea we gave him all the support we could and he just walked out
  16. Not the worst signing He can play straight away and is solid enough
  17. roff.... thats the whole part of twitter... I've actually decided it would look better without the @ or the Rich and the 19 So we would just be left with Garcia I reckon that might look swish
  18. If we wanted to do this on the world stage, should we have waited until we play Sydney where their games beam live into Europe I'm just guessing that Heart vs Glory wont get much support outside here Anyway I understand why we're doing it, I just think its an odd thing to do. But like most things I'll reserve judgement to after the event
  19. I understand how social media helps promote the club and membership etc I just don't see how having redders20 Instead of Redmayne on the back is going to particularly help
  20. This is the first and hopefully only time I'm going to comment on this Was there chairs broken? Yes Is it good enough? No Does it hurt the clubs reputation? Of course it does, it also hurts Victorys Is it a media beat up? No if there was 6 chairs it would be, but there is 150 Should we dob people in? I couldnt give a stuff, do what you want Is the club going to fold because of it? Most ridiculous thing said in this thread It's now Tuesday, people really need to get over it, what's done is done The club and authorities will deal with it now We have a big 8 weeks to look forward to which is much more important than these chairs to us now
  21. Possibly the worst idea I've heard To me it smacks of amateur club
  22. I was at Dusseldorf v Stuttgart a few days ago, there, the announcer calls the first name of the player who scores the goal and the crowd calls out the last name. Victory do that as well But I'm talking about what comes up on the scoreboard when team getting read out The single picture of the player is boring IMO
  23. Matt Thompsons second goal, the chip from the right edge of the box was better
