  1. Hey everyone, just an update from my post yesterday. They were "distressed" to hear that I claimed that they were not trained adequately in conflict resolution, which is their aim. I do not think I will get anywhere, so could those of you who are members of the supporters group please raise this with the club when meeting with them. I trust this may be a better course of action. I have replied and mentioned to them how important it is for the club to meet with them and get some dialogue happening, but I get the distinct impression they hope I will go away.
  2. Realised as soon as I sent it mate, sorry! If I get any feedback from them I'll mention it, I have a few things to say
  3. I sent this message to ACG on their webpage, and would recommend other supporters do the same. Feedback is appreciated. To whom it may concern, I am a Melbourne Heart member who sits in the active area and was witness to the shocking scenes that took place on Saturday night. I respect the extremely difficult jobs that your security people have, and for the most part I have no problems, but I felt that the way the situation in our active area was handled was quite frankly disappointing. I am not privy to the actual operating conditions that your firm has under the agreement you have with AAMI Park management and the FFA, however I feel the actions of your employees created a serious problem for the remaining patrons of the stadium. What also was astounding to myself and some of my fellow supporters was the fact that your employees caused severe discomfort to other patrons by inciting a near riot. I for one felt extremely unsafe when this happened. Could someone please explain to me how it was that ACG, as a private security firm, took such heavyhanded action? There were special events police in attendance, surely as the major law enforcement agency it should have been them. With all due respect to the training the employees of your firm receive, I believe the police should have acted and would have co-ordinated a much more satisfactory response. I would recommend that perhaps some of the senior security staff could perhaps arrange some kind of dialogue with the Heart, members of our active support group and the Police to ensure these scenes do not happen again. I would appreciate some kind of feedback based on my above comments to my email address provided and would like to see some action taken before next season.
  4. The way security handled things was pretty ridiculous, the recommendations of getting these guys to sit with the club, senior member of our Active Supporter groups and the Police to get some kind of dialogue. From what I saw (and I have to say I was half looking at it and half looking at the game) the police hardly got involved until Ando was out of the seats, so security need a bit of a clip, I've seen sheep handled better than what Ando was! And no Ando, not comparing you to a sheep!!! I fear for the possible repercussions for next year, I'm proud to be a member of the club, and hope we all can move on next year. However, I fear that ACG and stadium management have no grasp on it (in particular Eithad who insist on allowing anyone to sit in our away bay) and we will see more trouble from anyone who thinks its ok to come be a thug at our games. SO lets get the security, Police and Staidum management to do their job and liase with all patrons, especially the active members, to ensure all and sundry have a good experience and we don't ever see what happened Saturday night happen again
  5. We have a good chance I reckon, our form in Brisbane is strong, and they aren't as tough as in previous years. Still a tough task, but we are SURELY due a win away!
  6. Yeah think it ran its course, good move mods.
  7. Glad to know i am in the trenches with these sort of blokes....90% of this fan base are clowns. Did you feel really big last night, and YOU have the audacity to call me a clown. Mate if there was a true cause to this move, I would happily have joined in, but for one act of stupidity by security..... come on mate. Dont you ever EVER question my committment to this CLUB, as I am just as committed as you are. My priority was watching the GAME, and trying to help the CLUB, to get a vital 3 points at home. Certainly did knowing that through my actions and the actions of my comrades ,our fallen comrade Ando knew he was not alone and that the treatment of the Yarraside by ACG/VicPol will not be tolerated. as I said before, All for one, One for all Yeah well either way champ, don;t question my committment, I make my protest in other ways (ie - Communicating with the parties involved directly). Ever think that might achieve something longterm instead of just being rash..... and making things worse moving forward to the point where the Yarraside may face extreme difficulties.... Seriously... FFS, the guy got fucking stomped on, and when that happens to mates, I don't think 'long term thought' comes to mind Regardless mate, the damage has been done, I expressed a view and defended myself and all I got for it was shit. That was all I said princess stop getting butt-hurt because we share different opinions. Whatever, lets all move on

  10. Awesome work, I mentioned it on another post on another thread, but the trumpets were awesome, and hope to see them permanently next season
  11. Handled everything rather appalingly, fair to say a good old fashioned COCKUP.
  12. Finals are realistically extremely difficult, if these games were at home I'd rate us to get the job done, but away it's a bridge too far. However, stranger things have happened.

  14. Well several things to talk about from last night, its taken me a while but here it is: 1. The boys had a dig last night, thank christ. The first 45 minutes it all looked quite reasonable, and we possibly could have had the lead at halftime. Speaking with them afterwards, they were gutted, echausted and had given it their all. 2. The fans were great for the first half too, especially the trumpeters who sounded sensational. Then we move to the second half........ all I can say is WHAT A SHAMBLES!!! 1. First of all, security did not handle things well at all with taking Ando out. They obviously know he is well liked within the group and that taking him out was going to cause a fair old rukkus, so hopefully the club and ACG get some sort of dialogue happening. 2. The reaction after that, it was a joke. Purely and simply a joke. I respect Ando and he does a fantastic job, met him at an away game and seems like a decent bloke who is extremely committed to the club. However, this is absolutely NO EXCUSE to carry on the way that everyone did afterwards. It made us (Melbourne Heart fans) look pathetic and it was disgraceful. I also don't get why everyone around felt the need to pressure everyone to move, the name of the group is YARRASIDE, now on my geography, that means at the Yarra end, not the Northern end. Frankly I wasn't going to the other end, for various reasons, but if you wanna get in my face about it then just FUCK OFF. I felt sorry for Ando, but I wasn't planning on moving. The club now has a serious image problem I feel, as the mess from last night, coupled with the Etihad episodes earlier in the season, have given us a massive image problem. I hope the guy who kinghit the WSW fan is caught and dealt with, no need for them to be at any matches, regardless of who he follows (I personally believe it was a Victory fan causing problems). Before all you guys shoot me down for my view, just consider how much of an image killer this is. WIll miss home games now after the season has ended and can't wait to see most of you next year.
  15. In for this, now is the time to get behind the boys and show we are still a chance for the playoffs. Johnny, please please PLEASE give the squad the rocket it deserves, and lets see how good these Westies are in arguably the toughest place to play. They have yet to play Melbournes REAL team, at home anyway, so lets send them home with their tails between their legs. And finally....FUCK OFF WITH THE NEGATIVITY, it was discussed on the other thread (I had to miss last night), and I WONT HAVE IT!!! This is the time to get behind these lads, show some fucking GUTS and DETERMINATION and give them the last home game a true sendoff. Get behind the capo, and the drummer, and the trumpeter (who sounded amazing last night btw) and FIRE UP, these boys think they are king shit and I for one would love to bring them down a notch or 2.
  16. Least it will be semi-ligitimate...... still insipid
  17. Done, dusted and all over! Unless..... WE WIN AWAY. Get some results on the road and possibly beat West Sydney and we are in. The boys need a good kick up the ass for tonights performance, and if Aloisi isn't keen on it I'm more than happy to take a few hours off work to do it (unpaid if necessary)!
  18. What a disgusting performance, gives these Victory fuckwit trolls more ammunition (we all know we are a much better club). Get rid of some of the dead weight, Meewis looked like rubbish (bit of a waste of money), Garcia is obviously thinking of Socceroos next week, Vrankovic and Colossimo look like they have no clue. DO I really need to say any more, you have made the job so much harder for yourselves now, we will HAVE TO WIN away, and hope some results go for us. Disappointed, but glad I didn't drive my usual 2 hours for it, if this is what we get for dedication then we need new blood.
  19. Need to have a bit of faith, but jesus can we get some psychiatric help for the away games, theres something wrong. They should be talking to teams who travel interstate/overseas most weeks and win (eg. Melb Storm, Sydney Swans, etc) and see what they do. We can still make finals, my money is on Heart vs Victory first week and good luck getting a ticket haha! Come on you boys in red, and lift for the home games, these are CRUCIAL!!! And so are we, the fans, we need to get out to their last games and support the boys and be the 12th man, or else we may as well all look forward to next year. Meanwhile, anyone who knows a good shrink, send them to La Trobe during the week...
  20. Hey boys, will be at the Imperial tomorrow for my first away match, hope a few of you come and say hello I'll be the guy on his own haha!!!! Seriously, 3 points will be very welcome, and much needed. If results go our way and the Tards do us a favour tomorrow we could get a bit of a gap happening possibly. Hope to see all of you tomorrow...
  21. Boys I've just about HAD IT with the derby specials. The posts before mentioning about special areas for the true active fans, perhaps set up some kind of attendance criteria where you have to have attended a certain number of games as an active member. I know this would reduce the numbers because of our lower crowd numbers, but for fucks sake at least we would have fans who were willing to follow the Capo and participate positively. Ando I could not like your post more about the side-play between certain derby specials and the South end being detrimental, it creates a division in the terrace at a venue where we need all the noise we can have. I've been fortunate to go to a couple of away trips in brisbane and met the core group of Yarrasiders, and they are TREMENDOUS with their commitment and passion to the club. We need the true fans to be in a united area at Etihad and don't get caught up in hating the Victory so obviously. We all know they are pathetic fucks but why encourage them, its only us who gets the blame. The media has blown it out of all hell, and frankly I'm sick of it. Did David Davutovic mention this in his Herald Sun article? He's the only true football journo in that paper. Sorry I'm not trying to sound like a grump, but I just want an atmosphere in the terrace where I can take my girlfriend and we can cheer and have fun like we do at AAMI.
  22. Ok last night, I've waited a while before posting but here is my verdict: 1. We put in a crack last night, I can say that. Not enough cattle to do the job, but the ones who played put in a crack. 2. Archie is a prick and a cunt and a wankjob who needs to be shot. 3. We need to get an experienced defence, especially on the flanks as we were torn to shreds. 4. The capo had an impossible job last night, there were at least 3 different chants going and sitting near the players race at that end there were 2 or 3 rebel groups (presumably only derby fans) doing their own thing. THIS SHIT HAS TO STOP! The capo is the leader, and must have the power to lead an organised terrace, its the best way to get loud. 5. A bit disappointed Williams didn't come over after he scored, but if they had scored earlier I suppose he would have. Certainly better than that cunt Archie. 6. Redders - WHAT A STAR, saved our skin so many times' 7. Strebre, I believe there is another thread on here which describes you but you are a prick and a cheating scum and hope you made a lot of money. Did anyone on here have anything on us at $5 before the match? Huge match this week, still well in touch with the top 6 and a win at home is just what we need. Sorry I went on so long lads and ladies!
  23. Chaps, now is the time when the true supporters stand out. Our visitors area needs to be absolutely packed, everyone in there needs to be totally committed to getting thse boys over the line. No matter the lineup, its the shirt they are wearing which counts. Everyone has to be UP FOR THE FIGHT!!! This is our game to win, its do or die and we must WIN!! To lose 2 straight to the Visitards would be a fucking joke and I hope we are still there win lose or draw after the finish. Lets fire up, show everyone what happens when the chips are down, everyone must STICK TOGETHER, FIGHT, and SHOW THE PASSION that makes this club the best one in Melbourne, COME ON YOU BOYS IN RED, shit I can't wait for Saturday, and lets get a win for the FANS boys!
  24. Hey guys, good win yesterday, desperately needed. Now in relation to the crowds, yesterdays was poor, despite the heat and whatever people should still be there supporting their club. I find it is more so the locally based fans who can't be bothered or whatever to go to games, I come down every time from 100+kms away, and I have sat with at least 2 people who do the same. I do this because I'm a PASSIONATE PROUD SUPPORTER. I would love it if the negativity just stopped right now and everyone who can just gets off their asses and get to games. I know work and other committments make it hard for 5:30 Saturday games but come on, we have to make more of an effort. The game yesterday, the best thing that could have happened was Aloisi and Burns having a little chat in the tunnel, it got the boys (and the fans) out of their slumber and everyone started to buy into the game more. Gol Gol, thank christ you scored, desperately needed. Just one more thing about the girls, I don't know where you guys were looking but I saw 4 or 5 girls in the terrace who did their best and had a crack at the chants. My gf comes with me (has been for 2 years) and she tries as well. Hope this is in the right forum (maybe some of this should be in the Match Day part - moderator I leave that to you)
  25. kingofhearts: WHAT THE HELL DOES THAT ACHIEVE?!!! There are better ways to show your opinion, and this is just a stupid, childish way to show. Stop having a temper tanty and do something constructive.
