  1. I thought Plan A is aimlessly passing the ball around and making sure Bart and Delbo have a great pass completion rate...
  2. Is it shit coaches or just an overall culture of losing that holds us back? The trajectory looked good st some point, when we had just won the FFA Cup, but the winning mentality just didn’t last. Our tactics are rubbish, our squad looks completely unbalanced (how many attacking midfielders do we really need?), and the mentality is weak. There was no aggression tonight and no fucking plan B. So disappointing.
  3. so unsafe to go to a-league games these days. A flare ripped, for a moment it felt like downtown Mogadishu, can't we have more police at these events, it should be a 1 cop to 1 supporter ratio, would up our average attendance too. It's incredible how much we have accepted the police state.
  4. Let's get Samir Nasri, he's clubless and has just been suspended for 6 months for a doping violation, perfect to promote the image of the sport too.
  5. Anyone record the chant and can upload to YouTube?
  6. Used to think the same about active, but after 7 seasons as member and the last three in active, this is what I think: we’ll sing what we want, why don’t you come sit with us and try to start something yourself, lazy c***, go sit at the other end of the stadium if you don’t like it... happy to mix up the chants, it is a pity that we’re not louder on the telly, but not going to change chants because some w***ers sitting around us aren’t happy with it. There’s a few other seating options around the stadium for you...look out for the green seats. It could have been the fuck off Sydney fc chant as well, or fuck’em all, or the classic what do we think of Sydney...
  7. Yeah love the days when we "bossed" games only to draw or lose after we are up a couple of goals...so entertaining...would prefer not to boss games and win the toilet seat.
  8. Yes please more pragmatism, would be fucking great to actually defend.
  9. Thanks to everyone for chanting even when we were down. JVS just recycles the same game plans over and over that cutch dunt
  10. Seriously couldn't care less about the 'fairness factor', in any league there will always be bigger and smaller clubs, as a foundation member I supported the club through and through in any context, it just so turns out that we are much more powerful and resourced now, and aligned with FFAs interests, at the moment (<- can always change!!!). Look at what FFA did with the Asian Cup: both semis and final in Sydney...shafted Melbourne, pissed me off at the time but really couldn't care less now. To a certain extent, I will always be in favour of doing everything and anything that maximises the financial sustainability of the league, so whatever is good in a commercial sense. The only time I would have issues with this type of pragmatic, commercial approach, is if it were hurting some of the smaller markets, eg non-Sydney/Melbourne teams. Also, controversy can be good for our game and arouse more passion! The most important part of this whole thing is that we are lifting the effin FFA cup on the 30th of November.
  11. foundation member! edit: well I joined as full member in the second season, but my membership pin says foundation member, so yeah...
