Probably the shittest quality game of football I've ever seen but tremendous character by the lads, undefeated in 4 now!
Another massive positive I noticed was the number of people I saw prior to the game with ordinary gear on leaving with Heart shirts, nice one.
As for the flares, well... whilst atmospheric it's pretty damn stupid to rip one when you consider the punishments the FFA have been handing out clubs and supporters alike for anti-social behaviour and it was ESPECIALLY stupid to do it on a day where weather conditions couldn't be worse.
Great job though Melbourne Heart and fuck me, it was nice only to have a 10 minute road-trip for once
Where does one go on a Sunday night in Albury?

Up in Albury this week for work. Stinking hot. But it is good to see when you cross the border lots of promo for the heart with banners and flags on the poles. Home on Friday but will come back up for this. Looking forward to it.

Enjoying the passion and effort HK is showing on the pitch, he has been class lately IMO.

Sorrento --> Albury and back in a day, bring it on.

For those in the sunny UK getting up early and streaming the game V Adelaide, top right hand corner of your screen will be the Away Bay, so you can get a glimpse of your new Melbourne mates.Mon Heart

So how do we get our opinions across to THE Men THAT matter?
Im heading over in June, might stop off at the office and let em know.

Mixed emotions. Strangely enough, i quite enjoy going to games and knowing everyone around you each week. It definitely does seem like an end of the 'struggle era', an era i'm proud to have been apart of, an era that has made our supporters a tight knit unit. But i feel it is needed. Alike the majority of posts, I understand the name change, and have almost conceded that, but ill be shattered if they change our red and white. If we are to change our name, I for one, can't wait to sing "You are in My Heart" one last time with 'Heart' on the scoreboard against WSW.

Sebastian Hassett @sebth 20m
As we revealed, John van't Schip is likely to take over at Melb Heart. However, John Aloisi is demanding every cent - expect a legal battle
Details
inB4 brings down the club with legal battle.

Next on the list is Sidwell.
find a carpark and confront him pls. 100% strike rate Y-Side Core.

I thought he showed some passion v Sydney -- yeah we've paid overs , and his finishing sucks , but he finally scored , maybe he's turned the corner and we'll get a goal out of him in the derby .
If he scores and we win -- I'll put 11 on my back !!

Ive always thought he has showed passion. i think we need to give him time. He has broken his duck. Hopefully he gains confidence from Sydney Away. I did like how he was the first person to get to Harry and tell him keep his chin up after the penalty miss.

im hearing a lot of noise about despondency amongst the players at the airport ....
Put ya self in there shoes
I would be to, = Unclear instruction from the coach + Confusion over the boards acceptance + a Prima donna as captain
....... Who can blame em
probably from my post ...
I can understand their feelings
They all but agreed with my opinion ( and i included the fact that many supporters have a similar opinion) about JA's PLAN A,B & C long ball tactics
I could see in their faces that they wanted to say "yes it's crap that we are playing" I didn't push it too hard, I mean I could be a journalist's uncle or something and have scoop saying " HEART PLAYER MR X SAYS JA'S TACTICS ARE WOEFUL "
as I mentioned earlier , they were really down, but the way they played in the second half, where they looked like a football team, when I said this to them they livened up and you could see that they had some fire in the belly and wanted to play in this way .
I just find it sad for the players, I may be wrong and shout me down if I am, but I reckon that they are all busting their guts to try their hardest, it's just the system and tactics that we are playing that is the downfall
Completely agree, spoke to Massimo after the game, and you could tell he was shattered/deflated. He is a workhorse and is effectively getting donuts for all his effort.

Good fun trip, have no voice left today. Had an interesting chat to Willo after the game. Conceded that we are shit and confirmed how much the boys need Harry saying "Harry can play golf everyday of the week for all The boys care, as long as he plays on the weekend".
All in all good trip and the bar tenders at Bar Cleveland > Bat and Ball, so a big thumbs up.

Looking forward to heading up for this. Have been to 2 away games and got caught taking a piss each time we have scored, so would like to see a goal in real time, this Sunday.

we need someone with a "whatever it takes" mentality. Stephen Dank and James Hird, with a little help from our friend AOD-9064, would do a stellar job IMO.

I read this as a "your wish is my command" question from the big Sheik. Expecting Messi, Ronaldo and Neymar next year.
