That last scene was kind of like being a Heart Supporter. When you get your hopes up, something bad, always happens.

I still can't believe he celebrated with two fist pumps after pulling the bird.
Tando > Redders. -
Redders out at the Hawthorn last night. Clearly lacking confidence, pulling 17 year old birds who would be a max 4/10.
Said he couldn't say anything in regards to colour change.

Hedaik, let us know how the ANP is when your up there mate!
Alpine NP was awesome, easily my favourite camping area and national park in Victoria.
Did the Mt Howitt walk from the carpark, fairly straight forward hike but was pretty bloody cold and windy once youre exposed near the peak. You'd want to make sure you're well prepared if you're doing the crosscut saw in winter as I wouldn't want to get stuck overnight in wet clothing. The overnight huts looked pretty good though, with the best toilet in Australia near Mt Howitt where you can overlook the whole valley from the throne. Forgot to bring up my Yarraside stickers for you
Also did Wellington River track with the intention of getting to lake tali khan but couldn't make it and turned back 5km short. Theres something like 16 river crossing where you need to take your boots and socks off each time so that slowed us down a bit. Ended up doing 24km in 6.5 hours or something so really needed to allow another 3 hours to get to the lake. Saw my first wild deer, scared the shit out of me at first as I thought it was a giant dog.
Just got back then from Alpine NP. And wowee it was cold. Did the cross cut saw and made it to Mt Buggery, and finished off last night at Vallejo Gantner Hut (The best toilet you were talking about). Light snow falling as we walked out this morning. This was my first time to ANP, and I was blown away. Some of the best scenery on top of the cross cut saw i will ever see. Would recommend this walk to anyone, but yes, i wouldn't touch it from now til post winter, as it was FREEZING, averaging -4 each night plus windchill.

Well I hear you bro, but I went back and had yet antoher read of what Torn Asunder wrote about the fans rep meeting.
The meeting was attended by a very influential City person. They were adamant they would be respectful to our club's history, "wouldn't do a Cardiff", understood that the fans were committed to red & white, would reach a solution that was acceptable to most fans and wouldn't make us a "mini-Man City".
So assuming they aren't complete bull artists, I think there is still plenty of hope that we will play in our colours at home and all this fuss from Sydney is just about away kits (Sydney might see a much greater threat from a Man City owned club using NSW colours than from the ephemeral use by another club?).
Anyway having said that I have my own alternative plans if the worst happens and I'd recommend everyone gives thought to what action they might take should certain things happen (not trying to influence others- just suggest you should be mentally prepared).
I just can't see how Man City can make the claims TA reported and hand us a city replica kit for home games; no way "most fans" will consider that acceptable (at best some will consider it "tolerable" which is a big difference) and it will probably lead to Cardiff style campaign(s) next year, in complete contradiction to what Man City have said they want to achieve. if they believe different they really need to get out more.
(This post probably makes me sound bipolar given other posts i have made! Truth is I oscillate from hope to despair regularly on this issue.)Agreed, Im holding onto TA's comments and the fact they have continuously stated they will respect our colours.
The City Group has attempted to rub the supporters up the right way by resigning JVS, DW, Hoffman etc, trying to make good first impressions. Their next move is massive. It will divide supporters.
If FFA does approve this Replica Kit, it will clearly be to appeal to the Euro-Snobs.
How about the FFA supports US, the supporters who have supported THEM and THEIR league with our hard earned money, through the thick and thin.

Anybody doing anything over easter?
We're off to the Alpine National Park for 5 days, with a home made keg of Redback ready to go
Enjoy Hedaik,
Got 2 camps coming up,
Alpine Nation Park and doing the cross cut saw in early May,
then a few days hiking down the prom.
Hedaik, let us know how the ANP is when your up there mate!

Ha, spoke with him at the airport on Saturday. Asked him whether he'd be around next season. Got the hint he wanted out. The bastard lied!
same response in Brisbane the week before, and seemed pretty pissed off he 'hadn't been approached'
Very happy with this. I want this man to lead my team out next season.

Saw this guy at Merrywell last night. Asked him did he get a contract extension he said he doubts he will get one and will go back to Europe. On the side note, he picked up some hot girl too,
Isnt he married?

pumped, first time to suncorp.

Heading up for this. Was hoping it would be a 'must win game', but not to be.
Roar to win 2-1, after we take an unlikely 1-0 lead through a deflection, getting out hopes up, then have them dashed away but yet another defensive error.
-
Inb4 this is a tactical manoeuvre from City Group to try and win the supporter base over. Signing a guy who has been here from the start, to make the supporters feel we still have the 'Melbourne Heart' link.
Then they change the name, colours and logo.
Will be happily proven wrong.

I feel this weird trophy tournament adds to the A league weird trophy tournament stages. To this day i still don't understand why the hell you have a semi final and final in a football league (not Gay FL the Hyundai A League i mean). If you finish no 1 then you are the champions no matter what. The FFA cup is Another strange creation of a football trophy tournament that i don't understand...Pot A, PotB ermmmm PotC. Whoever created this was on fu-kin POT!!
If this was the case, our season right now would be over, Brisbane have all but wrapped it up. Half the reason we have had such media interest and a slight influx in crowd figures recently is because we are still in the finals hunt. In the future i would be all for a top of the table winner takes it all, but right now as the A- league is growing, the league needs as much help as they can to keep 6 out of the 10 clubs fans interested and with hope that they can make a run for the toilet seat.

Enjoy.

Not afraid to admit I've done a complete back flip, a while ago actually, just didn't think my opinion mattered to much, but thanks to MUNTD/MLBHRT/ERMGHRD/ESSNDN for pointing us voters out.
Reflecting, I feel i voted in the heat of the moment, which affected my vote.
If beer is flowing, mates are around, we can abuse the substitute players, and we have a terrace (hopefully YSIDE are still existent) then i will swallow the pill that I won't see R&W at AAMI anymore.
Will wear the Red and White with pride, and attend more away games to get dem 'Old Days' feels.
Bring on the future.
