AyeCee
Hoho, my time to shine. I'm sure some of you would have heard a bit of this, but I'm just gonna post my favourite shite. Lettuce begin. The indie stuff: Bon Iver - For emma, forever ago. Get this album. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jhxQWiCmxfg Dr. Dog - Heart it races. Cover of the fantastic Architecture in Helsinki song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WtZJk7ujsEw Arcade Fire - Neighborhood #4 Kettles. Get this album. Now for some misc stuff, just general chill out. Air - Lost in Kyoto. Features in the greatest soundtrack ever made. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nz4Y2KrTD6U The Whitest Boy Alive - All Ears. Not much to say really, just so relaxing. I could go on for days.
Baresi
Bon Iver is(are) my favouite music artist(s). Have you got Sean Carey's album? (If you don't know; he's the drummer/backup vocalist from Bon Iver) Arcade Fire are also quality. Will check the others later.
AyeCee
Haven't got that album, and uni network doesn't allow torrents, so I'll have to wait a week before getting it from home. If it's anything like Bon Iver, I'm sure I'll love it, amazing group. I'm assuming you've listened to the xx, or at least heard some of their stuff. Got their self-titled album on repeat at the moment, great to fall asleep to. Also, for any soft guitar you might be listening to, try running this in the background. http://www.rainymood.com/
Baresi
Been listening to the Other Lives album on repeat; super album really. Every track has got me in different ways. Checked out those tracks you posted. The Whitest Boy Alive one was probably my favourite, but didn't mind them all.

Baresi
Doesn't fit this thread perfectly, but still along the same vibe.
Brodebec
Nick Drake = Royalty. Currently am a little stuck on this one. Oh and this particular clip is most amusing with its literal lyric interpretation. http://youtu.be/xN-Bo9XCwsk
AyeCee
Little Dragon. Probably not ambient or chill, but still fucking cool. This is the most suitable song, but get your paws on their album, amazing stuff. However, going from your knowledge, I'm assuming you are already familiar. Baresi
To be honest, I'm not the most knowledgeable in this sort of genre (if that was directed at me). But!.. I'm getting there. Only really been getting into it properly over the last few months and so am slowly creating a collection.
AyeCee
You're my only friend in this thread, for future reference. So you haven't heard Little Dragon? Typical FIFA music, has a song on it in fact. Similar to and does a lot of stuff with the Gorillaz. Not sure if you'll like them, but certainly try their latest album, Ritual Union. I'm not too good at the ambient side of things, and certainly not a full blown indie, but likewise do enjoy some of the stuff. Tend to prefer electronic stuff though (Air, Chemical Brothers, Cassius)
Baresi
Lol, I'm quite far from Indie, but I love the music. And yeah, will have a geeze at Little Dragon tomorrow, and tell you what I think.
Hendo
In regards to Little Dragon, known her for awhile as I know a fair few females of similar ethnicity mix, ''My Step'' is the best song of hers by a long shot. Plugging my good mates band, expect big things.
Baresi
Finally got around to checking Little Dragon... Given her a tick. Not the stuff I'd typically listen to, but I do enjoy a bit of. Almost reminds me of very early Chromeo - but less electronic. Gives me the same vibe. Hendo, that track is decent as well. Jumping on the plugging wagon... Lead singer in this band is in my class at uni. They've got some Triple J air play, and I can safely say I was solidly impressed by their EP. perthheart
Needs more beard tbh. Nice tune though. Sounds like they've taken pretty heavy influence from City and Colour. Or vice versa without knowing much about those guys. This is my favourite tune atm.

Baresi
Needs more beard tbh. Nice tune though. Sounds like they've taken pretty heavy influence from City and Colour. Or vice versa without knowing much about those guys. Well City And Colour have been around a lot longer, so you'd probably think they were an influence for The White Album. These guys are Danish, and have only made the one album/EP. This is my favourite tune atm. Good tune, that. Their name sounds familiar but I'm not sure if I've actually listened to them before or not. Edited July 6, 2012 by Ellki
perthheart
I think a song of theirs was on fifa this year. They release an album every 6 months it seems. They formed from the ashes of a hardcore band surprisingly enough.

AyeCee
DIIV released this album earlier this year, a surfy, more chilled version of Tame Impala I guess. Really suits the warmer weather. Then there's John Tejada, a less hectic version of Aphex Twin. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p_sDM4OhT88
