Tommy Glover apparently has interest from Newcastle, Celtic, Rangers and Copenhagen.
I know he had impressed in the dozen or so games he started for Middlesbrough, but didn't know he did that well to have clubs like that looking at him.
Yeah he did pretty well, I remember he was getting plaudits and fan favourite for a few games.

Me too. He'll leave as one of our best. Does flag a significant changing of the guard though. May be the good sort of change. Can only hope.
There were rumours at the start of the season he wanted to go to India but the club denied the move, I have a feeling that it has had an impact on his performances if true, because there have been a number of games where he has been below par.

Fairly shallow article thought. I think most, if not all, of those coming out of contract should be let go with thanks. The squad is ageing and it shows. I'd keep Fernandez and maybe Hall as a cheap back-up. Leckie and Nabbout have barely contributed this season - injuries or not it is not a good omen going forward.
We need new blood, and a new spirit in the team and on the terraces, and I think fans would accept a season of rebuilding. I just hope the recruiting is up to it. And I'd like to see evidence that we've been scouting in East Asia.
As for a new manager - yes please. And hopefully someone who will be on board before all the signings, and someone with some connections of his own in terms of players.
I think Leckie would be valuable even off the bench, he still offers a lot and it's really his first run of injuries he's had in his career and it wouldn't surprise me if the club was somewhat at fault for that by playing him injured.
I would prefer us to develop Politidis, he looks good to me, football smart and has technique. I'm not sure Fernandez offers a whole lot more as a foreign player imho, foreign player spots might be at a premium for a rebuild, like CB and wing.
A lot of people have raved about Iredale, didn't he play some minutes against Lebanon?
As for a new manager someone mentioned Zdrilic, I don't have any suggestions. Rik De Mil seems to be contracted with Charleroi fc until 2026 according to Transfermarkt.

Well at least it was a real goal I guess, unlike their opener
Yeah, that was pretty dodgy.

That's a killer goal, underrated player Balard, we just don't take our chances, we had the opportunities to go ahead a few times.

My Paramount stream has died. Anyone else?
refresh, it's a caching problem.

Jamie would've scored that in his sleep last season

Bloody hell, I'd take Jakolis off before Lopane tbh, he's not been good tonight.
Ah, he is off, my mistake.

he pushed fernandez over and falls over him, pen...

How did we not score!

Can anyone share an article that describes the options and benefits of short corners? It seems that ours are shit.
Not now, but I think the biggest advantage is dragging one or two defenders out of the box.

We're looking the better team so far, had a few good chances.

Close, Arslan hit the post after good play from Caputo!
-
Talbot doing really well so far.

Maybe he still has a niggle? Otherwise it's puzzling.

Here we go
Good, Antonis and Lopane come in for Souprayen, Jeggo and Napel, Lopane as a winger, God help us, maybe he'll have a blinder.
-
Quick turn around as we play again tonight, it wouldn't surprise me to see some changes because of it like Leckie and Jamie starting, maybe Antonis.

I'm looking forward to next season and some personnel changes, a frustrating game to watch, even though overall there's improvement, there's zero cohesion at all.

There were a group of kids. Yes that's right kids probably 6-8 years of age throwing red, white and blue balloons around near the active. Security just came in and...
I'm just getting fed up to be honest!
Football has been under attack in this country and certainly in Vic for the last 100 years. I mean it was a point of discussion in Vic parliament at one stage, because it threatened to be bigger than AFL.

Natel has absolutely no business carrying on like this when he just spends the majority of the game offside stopping every opportunity.
Yeah he's come across as a goose, Ingham had him in his pocket all game.
The whole game is a bit frustrating for us though, almost in every situation, almost sums up the game so far.

Patrick Beach was in goals for the Olyroos overnight in their 2-1 win. Wonder if we'll ever see him play a game for us or will he be like Gauci and move on after a year
All I could find of the match, usually Football Aust puts their matches on yt.

Jokes aside, how long is he signed up for? And we all agree he should stay alittle longer?
I think he deserves at least another season, he's been good for us.
I have no idea how long his contract is.

Does this also apply to the bedroom? My wife doesn’t seem to think so.
It happens to us all mate.
It's a bit strange why he is being played in the deeper role, he is doing well there tbf. I think bringing on Lopane to the AM spot would be better if Tezza moved there and Lopane to the deeper role where I think would suit both better.

I honestly thought our season was over, it was a good win away from home that gives us ta slim chance. Leckie coming in has really changed things imho, defending from the front has been big for us, I think he is better in the middle.
