Also another rumor from soccer stoppage time is that we are going hard to get Kenny Lowe. Not sure in what role though.
  3. If he goes we have room for a striker. Hopefully unlike every other time we are prepared and have plans in place. might have been a forced move for d-mac? ie: 'look dylan, we wont re sign you for next season, do us a favour and leave now so we can get someone else, cheers bud curious to know if the new owners had any input in this.
  4. any game time exposure will improve his fitness. On sunday when he came off he didnt look tired at all but his role didnt involve much running.
  5. He will probably start on the bench and play 10-20 mins at the end.
  6. Jets to win. Record is ours, but it will be great to see Engelaar
  7. Got through training again today with no issues and no problems from the game on the weekend. odds on chance to make the squad for this week
  8. yeah I was always curious about what he ment about that
  9. might explain his laziness a little, if the negotiations have been ongoing through the year...
  10. So apparently, this is from soccer stoppage time btw, Gol Gol has been dropped because he refused to sign a new contract with the club. make of that what you will
  11. If there is a delay to the final agreement I think it will be the payout figures of the staff that will be let go being negotiated. Sidwell kept going on about in the JA press conference that they will only sell if the clubs interests were at the heart and that probably means staff like Munn and JD. I hope they keep the new fitness guy Ripamonte, so far he has done terrific work and although some of his tweets make me cringe I hope he is kept.

If we end up getting pappas an as assistant....then the manager would have to be a pretty big scalp then. its win win
  13. I agree, I can't help but think that his condition is significant in explaining how he performs. Another thing that might partly explain his performances is his lack of 90 minute matches. He's been used largely as a substitute throughout his professional career first at Gold Coast and now at Heart, with this season pretty much being the first time he's started on multiple occasions. I don't think he knows how to pace himself and maximise the fitness he has, which might well, as suggested, be hampered by his Ostieitis Pubis. Given how much patience has been shown towards the likes of David Williams, 2 years older than Golgol with much more professional football experience, I reckon Golgol deserves a bit more time, but not as much time as the likes of Williams has had to prove himself (3 whole seasons). Agree with all of this Murf, I also think Gol Gol is better than williams now and as you said he is two years younger so I hope we keep him and I hope Simon and the new owners work out away of getting his body right, there are alot of afl players who have had Ostitis pubis and have been able to comeback from it.
  14. I think we can blame JA and the club for Germano's long recovery. If GErmano is telling the truth that they didnt want him so didnt care about his recovery thats probably why it took so long to get him back and ready.
  15. I have a feeling that its still his Ostieitis Pubis that makes him seem lazy. People have to remember that its not an injury, its a condition that doesnt have a cure. Plus when he has the ball he can get past anyone. He was having a field day yesterday. Still a huge fan and I think he should be on the bench and used as an impact sub until his condition can be managed properly.
  16. going by other a league clubs twitter pages all of their young players starred and played a crucial role in the win
  17. After the glow has worn off from me after a rare heart win, I think it must be remembered that Victory were severely depleted, a couple of their back men (Well boys) looked like they were 9, so really the result yesterday had to be expected....
  18. I'm a little concerned about it now, if its a full take over and clean out... May suggest they will make changes that might change the name, colours or location of the club. I know there is no evidence for that, but a full take over means they could do anything they want
  19. also the kits look much better with that big W in the centre rather than nothing. They look weird with no logo like the youth team does haha
  20. Schroen. Garuccio imo looked a little out of form and seemed a bit pissed with his game but in his defence I didn't watch him a lot.
  21. He didn't really do much. But looked great with what he did do. It was a period in the game where we were dominant and he largely stayed around in the centre or just infront of defence as that anchor. When he came off he looked fine and not tired at all. All of his long balls were sublime, no wonder JA wanted him. Few times he had to turn sharply to get out of trouble and didn't see him wince when doing it so looks like a good sign
