cadete
No team is going to want to play us in the final series... Haha good one! Still have to make it first rofl Exactly. The only reason that no team will want to play us in the finals is that we are so inconsistent that thwy will never know what team will show up to play them. In a game alone we can go from world beatings to chumps at any stage, which would leave many coaches scratching their heads about what we are trying to achieve. Maybe thats JVS' plan... Confuse then pounce I think that description could be used to describe a number of the teams above us, as well. Sydney had a chance to take top spot just over a week ago and let us beat them at Allianz with half our team unavailable. Adelaide and Perth have also been very up and down since the new year. Adelaide have been overrated by the Media and just a lot of A-League fans in general all Season... I have been saying this all year FWIW. Whilst Perth were always going to come back to the rest of the field because their travel demands are ridiculous, it's hard enough for AFL sides to travel east every second week so the travelling Perth Glory has to do with the A-League fixture is a massive disadvantage. I still think Perth though can be a Grand Finalist as you would assume they would be managing their workload for the finals and obviously have a massive home ground advantage if they win a home final. In saying that I think Sydney are the team who seem to be timing their run best coming towards finals and Victory would have to be upset if they do not make the Grand Final.
