thedukeofhearts Posted July 10, 2014 Report Share Posted July 10, 2014 Yeah, personally I don't really like chants that use terrace names. eg songs about yarraside or melburnians etc. I prefer using the team name or nickname. I'll sing it anything though because I just enjoy chanting, but know a number of guys that don't take to them as much because they feel it's more about group rather than the team and it turns them off. Everyone is different though, but it's something for the guys choosing chants to be aware of.
