Peter
Another winning performance by the Heart. http://www.footballaustralia.com.au/news-display/Heart-upset-Roar-in-NYL/55195 It is great to see the depth we have. Mauk and Gray should be around the first XI and it sounds as if some of the other NYL boys are there or there abouts as well.

I'll be very surprised if J. Walker and Mitchinson are not offered contracts too. What with Garuccio and Vrankovic already on board, we could have a good sprinkling of young seniors playing next season. All positive IMO. Anyone else think that MHFC is the best production line of Full Backs in the country? We now have Mitchinson and Jezza. We turned Marrone and Behich into much better players. Plus we kick started Goodwin's career by playing him as a Full Back.
jw1739
Anyone else think that MHFC is the best production line of Full Backs in the country? Of course we are. In due course it will be players in all positions. It's the vision that the club had right from the start, and we are delivering on it. LR9
YT now sitting in 3rd, and we still have the AIS to play twice. We play 2nd place CCM this week (away), with a win setting up a top of the table clash for the home Derby the week after! 'Mon.
cadete
Appoint Joe Palatsides as first team manager. Interesting u say that... http://mhfcsupporter..._hl__palatsides So we hire a guy not good enough for VPL? Thats what happens when you leave it for too late and run out of options. Calm down guys - Just cos the Melbourne Heart stamp on him is still fresh ppl will not give him their massive tick of approval such as this forum over the past few months has given the whole of our NYL team to play A League straight over He recently arrived back from Greece when Mirabella had sacked Juve's original coach - He took the job to get him through the Winter as he looked for a more serious A League position (As he Is over qualified for VPL). Its fairly obvious he must of known he was coming to MH for sometime as well, as last weekend was the Zebras last mathematical chance to survive the drop hence they now gave him their blessing to leave. Also Juve's performances were not his fault, the club has had the most honorific of injury curses though out the whole season in particular with their keeper stocks.
