Ticker
Sad story. http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/tragedy-taken-to-heart/story-e6frf9if-1226244422515 Aziz will make sure we get the three points but could we have a tribute from the Yarraside if it's not already in the works? Sash
Shit. This story has probably touched most of us in recent days even before the link to Aziz. The black armbands and minute's silence will be an appropriate gesture. If Yarraside can do something, that would be great too. theresonlyonebzamora
was chatting with forum celebrity 'brendan' after the game and we both agreed it was fucking shit that they couldn't even do a whole minute of silence. nthis and many other causes of death are shit - they should not be happening. to sour it even more by only having 20 odd seconds was pretty disappointing. in the immortal words of a bearded man (no, not gandalf), love is all we need!

Unfortunately a minutes silence seems to be too long for most people and it usually ends up being ruined by one, then multiple people who start cheering. I'd prefer a complete silence for a moment, rather than being part of a crowd that shows disrespect without completing a full minute. Rocco Jones
Unfortunately a minutes silence seems to be too long for most people and it usually ends up being ruined by one, then multiple people who start cheering. I'd prefer a complete silence for a moment, rather than being part of a crowd that shows disrespect without completing a full minute. I'm a Primary School teacher at a school that is meant to have behavioural issues and they can all to the minute's silence. It's all about expectations, if we lower them to a moment of a silence, what happens when they make a noise? Spilt seconds? Don't know about you guys but the vast majority of times I have been in a crowd during a minute's silence it's been observed well. For me it's about the cause and the 99.9% who respect it rather than than the 0.1% of fools who won't no matter how long it goes for. theresonlyonebzamora
Were going off Topic Rocco. Rest in Peace S.E. are we? i just think it's unfair that the cause wasn't properly respected by the ground administration. i have respect for all fans and club officials who were silent and/or made comments about it to the media pre-game
