It may be my ignorance of not being a diehard supporter all of my life, but I don't understand why anybody would want colours that have nothing to do with their club as an alternate strip. We are red and white, and thats what we should be wearing. Even our third strip I didn't like, grey has nothing to do with our club.

Hope they don't get rid of the away strip, its by far my favourite and the jersey that I own.

Good luck to all the guys out there convincing their wives to go to a soccer game instead of taking them out to dinner.

Would be pretty easy to get started as well. Just have 10 or so people from Yarraside to sit on the wing for the start of the game to spread the chant out and get everyone into it.

Can't say I'm a fan of the music, but Im usually busy chatting/drinking before the game to really take notice. Not sure if there are any ex-Glory supporters out there like myself, but nothing beat the old days with Steve Armstrong singing the Glory theme live before the game, the guy was charismatic as you could get and you couldnt help but sing along with him, it helped create a real carnival type atmosphere at the ground. It made it a complete package of the day, and I have no doubt the pre and half time entertainment contributed to the early success of 20,000 size crowds to the games.

I'm not his biggest fan and agree he gets caught way too many times, but each time he had the ball Saturday night he had no way to shoot on goal or pass it off to anyone

Decent game, but the draw just makes losing Wednesday nights game a little more critical. Fucking loved Berishas missed penalty.

As somebody that sat on the wing for the CCM game, I thought the best chant for the whole night was the first 5 minutes with the *clap* *clap* heart! chant, that seemed to go on forever. It's an easy one for everybody to get into, and one that could also help get people into the mood at the start of the game and turn into a bit of a tradition.

Muscats not playing, Thompson I like watching, and Beauchamp I don't really have an opinion on.

Shit haircut and just has the attitude of a spoilt brat everytime he doesn't get his own way. Probably the only player in the A League I genuinely dislike.

Unfortunately a minutes silence seems to be too long for most people and it usually ends up being ruined by one, then multiple people who start cheering. I'd prefer a complete silence for a moment, rather than being part of a crowd that shows disrespect without completing a full minute.
