  1. Okay so I can't help myself. I'm going to try and fill the other way and fully immerse myself in the new identity. Time for a new kit. Anyone know where to grab one from the CBD? Or even some other gear?

Seriously ffs, it's a little bit of trim in an inconspicuous place that by photos alone, looks as black as it does navy.

Once the template was revealed for the euros, we were always going to get this style. And whilst it may not be the best looking, at least it's not sky and navy (yet).

It was never going to be red but at least we keep our red away strip.

So accept it and move on and out, like you continually tell us you're going to do...

Wanker. I was responding to a question that said "show us where it's navy?" with a direct answer. Not sure how that one comment, in amongst all the rest of my shitposts, could rile you up so much.

Something going on at a deeper level perhaps?

  3. Scott Munn told me to my face, and also to the FRG, that there'd be no navy blue at all. Not only is there a navy blue as a pop colour on the kit, it's the secondary colour for training gear and supporter apparel.

We are not Victory, we are not Sydney FC, we do NOT need to wear sky blue for any reason IF we are not a mini-Man City. For me personally, everything I liked about this club is now gone.

    Officially OUT.

what is there to be enthused about with AFL, It used to be a real man's game but they have sanitzed it and taken the biff out of it ,thats what i liked about it. The shirt fronts and the vigour, now it's all kick and run .

Kick and run... A bit similar to soccer hey

I'm thinking we're gonna circumvent the 70% requirement by having a city blue-white gradient so you can't really tell how much white there exactly is

    I love a good gradient.

Are they going to post a running membership tally on the portal like they do every year? Cbf calling the membership line every week for the tally.

Why would you do that? Why does it matter so much? Don't we have the most money in the league?

It's interesting. Your attitude is very much a reflection of the Australian Anglo culture where street smarts are considered unsportsmen but are well within the rules. What has the club actually done wrong besides work and yes perhaps stretch the system to get what they want? Technically they haven't broken any rules, so where's the beef?

They haven't done anything wrong, per se. As you say, maybe 'stretching the rules' is more apt. Regardless, it's the type of behaviour we've all whinged about for years with Sydney FC. As soon as we do something similar though, most people turn all smug and laugh about it whilst lauding it. To me that's ultra hypocritical and it's the prime reason I hate Sydney and Victory. So to act the same as them is concerning at best, and unforgivable at worst.

    Huh?

Victory rorted the rules successfully to get Carlos Hernandez and Marvin Angulo on loan. They were then granted exemptions for players who'd played a long length of time to have portions of there salary cap paid outside of the regular salary cap (after Brisbane were denied the right to make a similar exception to keep players at their club whom they developled). They paid Tom Rogic the minimum A-League wage ($50,000) after paying Celtic a fee of 5 times that. The idea that Victory isn't every bit as bad as us is laughable.

My point exactly. You are saying we are the same as Victory.

    Alarm bells ringing surely?

Goes to show the FFA have no idea what so ever and should all resign for the good of the game. Gallop the muppet said it was only a year guest marquee option now all of a sudden we've signed Cahill for 3 years 😐

It now looks like it's CFG running the FFA lol

If this was Victory, you'd all be up in arms. I hope no one is proud of this?

Anyone who doesn't want this bloke playing for us is kidding themselves. Yeah he's a bit of a flog, but all Aussie sporting legends are. Yeah it's obviously a marketing thing, but I'm keen to see a lot less empty seats at AAMI Park (despite what my username suggests). How could you not want to see this bloke destroy corner flags across the country in a City jersey?

You are a flog for wanting everyone to think like you. Maybe a lemming is more apt.

    Fair enough.

I wonder what your ideal home kit would look like? (apologies if you have already answered this in the forum)

Hmm that's a tough one really, I'm not too sure.

    Maybe... Hmm nah I dunno.

Actually - maybe like, red and white stripes? With red shorts? You know like we had before we were taken over by your dirty oil money business entrepreneur who turned us into a franchise/farm?

Don't let the door hit you on the way out

It must be pretty baller being the overseer of all things City-fan related hey.

Im jealous of all the power you have. Was it a hard slog working up to the position you're in?

  13. How can everyone be okay with fucking Manchester cherry picking him?

After stripping us of our identity they've now pillaged our best ever player. For what? Nothing.

    I fucking hate Man City.
