The comparison is not between Leckie and Tilio. Noone delivered much more. We were still not happy because dribbling was not his first and preferred choice.

With all this situation, we could easily miss it again.

It's a fair result. We consded goals after unlucky plays. On the other hand, they were closer to scoring the third.
In comparison to the last season, this team is weaker not for one but for two players. Noone and Luna have not been replaced with the same quality starters. This is fact which is and will be impacting our whole season.

Christmas derby win is the sweetest. However, maybe the tide has changed.

This year membership card is just memorabilia (?) , as they said. Your barcode doesn't charge through the year, for the same membership. Any this season emailed member ticket can be used. It's another type of souvenir. Is it confusing - definitely. A fragment of the current times.

Davidson's red card is a huge opening for the side where Nabbout plays. Logical continuity of the results would be 8 nil. However, I'm not sure that Poppa will let us do it. Actually, even they aren't really very good side, they play with more confidence than us.

I'm not sure about our increased intensity. That's to be tested next week. Poppa's teams are good in that respect. It was very much expected that Glory wouldn't match their efforts shortly after playing them last week. In this regard the result is very skinny.

Leckie has come from collective team football in Bundesliga. The fans expectation is that he will start one man show over the night.
Jamie has always been subpar marquee without (when not) scoring a brace. But he's bigger than league.

Leckie ain't going on bench. The team looked unhappy and not confident coming out of tunnel. Obviously we are going through post winning depression. Title defending is much harder work.

Leckie was that significant signing. With overall situation there is no reason to spend a lot.

The last season was unprecedented season due to covid. We entered the season with very strong squad. Other clubs didn't invest too much. The bottom line is that we didn't have as strong competition as usual. As it happened we dominated even without a half of the first lineup. We should update the squad wisely and extend our run.

Berenguer and NPL. Would that be Nippon Premier League. Otherwise you gotta be kidding. We can find a better player for sure, if we are willing to pay for it. But he is not rubish. His last season performance was better than the most visa players in the league. He's just spend a wee bit too long with us.

Sydney is in the same situation as we last year. Stranded in other state with no support. That's a major factor. They were eyeing the home final just 8 days ago.
We'll start with the same lineup. It's too risky to start not match fit (at least 60 minutes) players. That breaks the starting lineup dynamic.

It looks like that all sections are available. Hard limit is set by the number of tickets sold (14,700) not the distance between the seats. When this number is exhausted then it's virtually sold out.

What for? We won't be playing in the ACL. In this disrupted season what's the point of risking any investment. Maybe some intra movement.
